More like a set of case studies than step by step advice
I think what Elaine is doing is cool, especially with sourcing interviews with business owners many of us have never heard of. The book was less like a guide to starting your tiny business but more like a set of stories, detailing the challenges succesful ‘tiny’ business owners navigate in the world of entrepreneurship. The most helpful part is the resources that are mentioned throughout the book, as well as reality-checks on just how long it takes to reach ‘big money.’

Good Information, but Needs the PDF
The author provides good information on previous startups; however, she constantly references all of the data she's collected to back these case studies and it's not available for review. The information sounds interesting, but the book falls short when you can't see the data being referenced multiple times per chapter.

Very well done !!
I have both read this book and listened to it on Audible, its really good. Its amazing how many small businesses out there have grown quite large without anybody noticing. The author narrated the book herself for the audible version which adds some character to the subject matter, her enthusiasm from her research telegraphs in her voice - highly recommend

Elaine delivers another great book...
Elaine Pofeldt does an amazing job of capturing the essence of what makes these small businesses successful. The book, like her other book, contains actionable ideas and information from these small business owners and is inspiring as well.
