Narrator's voice, intonation and storytelling were perfect, but pronounciation of a lot of words incorrect! Editing was POORLY done. First time I experienced that mistakes and reruns were included in the final submission. Please do something about it. Loved the story and the writer's books. And would love more of her books in Afrikaans, the original language. Thanks.

Great story, poor editing

I experienced these times in my youth and it reminded me so much of the turbulences before and after the Soweto Riots.

It’s sad that many South Africans still classify white South Africans as racist while the older generation are mostly the rebels of these times.

I would recommend this to young South Africans to understand the other side of the fight against Apartheid!

Loved it!

I was looking forward to the last book in this trilogy, and had to develop a great deal of patience and endurance to be entertained by an extremely immature and childish main character. It comes across that the writer relied mostly on historical political South African issues and that the main character was a secondary role player in this last book of the trilogy series.

I was disappointed by the low quality of the editing of this audiobook. Many lines were repeated and this caused a disruption in the flow of the listening quality Im used to.
The sniffing by the narrator could at least been edited out if nothing else.
It is also clear that the continuity of the narrator’s voice was not taken into consideration and I question if the writer or publishers bothered to listen to the audio recording before releasing it on Audible.

It was a wasted credit and I should have rather read the hard copy of this book, but might not have finished it in anyway.
I am confused if this book was written for children, young adults or a mature audience?

Not the quality expected from an Irma Joubert book.

Good story but terrible editing and narration
