After her promotion from law firm Runner to Investigator, Kathleen Turner is learning the ropes of her new job from none other than assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon, a situation her boyfriend, Blane Kirk, is none too happy about. But the lessons with Kathleen take a back seat when Kade becomes a target. Previously untouchable, his enemies now know of the chink in his armor - his brother’s girlfriend.
And Kade’s not the only thing coming between Kathleen and Blane. From Blane’s inexplicable defense of a man guilty of a horrible crime, to a mysterious stranger from Kathleen’s past, to Kathleen’s risky investigation into human traffickers, the obstacles mount against a relationship that’s just begun to find trust again. While Blane considers a job offer that would take him back to the front lines in the war on terror, Kathleen is determined to pursue her new career, with or without his approval. Unfortunately, her current case is far more dangerous than anyone knows. Someone close to Blane will go to extreme lengths to split them up, lengths that may prove worse than death for Kathleen. Kathleen, Blane and Kade must atone for the sins of the past and the present. The fallout will force Kathleen to a turning point...in her career, and her life.

I don't like how Kathleen handles certain situations. She has guts but she also needs to learn when to back down. She also needs to learn to communicate. Blain needs to learn to communicate as well.
I can handle some love triangles but I don't like that this one is between two brothers. That's the only reason I'm not enjoying this as much as I normally would.
This one ended on a huge cliffhanger and it's also the first one that really has me itching to start the next book immediately because of that cliffhanger. I honestly don't know how I want this series to end now.

What made the experience of listening to Turning Point the most enjoyable?
Ok, I started with book 4 as that was Kades' story and it was yummy. However, these are NOT stand alone listens. The author ends the book with the start of the next book. Author does do some light reference to previous books making you think you must buy those. Frankly, you must love the 2 brothers, which I do, and A.D. male voices to start at book 1. I have read #4,#3, and I will have to listen to #2 & 1 before #5 . I purchased all 5 and they have not disappointed me, as the author got better with her dialogue as she wrote. I can't wait to get to book #5, but 1st will have to listen to the 1st two books as I should have.Who was your favorite character and why?
Kade is just so irreverent and sexy. Blane is a hunk. The female is not my fave, but the author kept you listening with her take on the 2 brothers, HOT!! These are not erotica books. More of an on going romance/mystery. Nothing too deep or heavy, but the relationship of 2 brothers with the lead female carrying the series. If the brothers were not so much a part of this series, I would have stopped as this female lead is not my fave. She has too much emotional baggage. Every author wants a series, look at JD Robb, but this author did not know how to better develop the female lead so she could write past #5.Have you listened to any of Angela Dawe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have downloaded about 15 of her reads as I love her male voices. She takes some getting use to on her female voice, so beware as many other reviewers had a different take on my new fave reader. I like Natalie Ross, Karen White, Gabra Zackman, and the late great Ms Anna Fields. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Two Brothers, oh wait, they already have a film of 2 tigers with that name.Any additional comments?
The cost of this series is under $10 and so worth the listening time. EnjoyMust Love a Series with Spunk and Hunk
