About this listen

Becoming a cultivator is hard—being an adopted child makes it even harder. Kiran must overcome his position if he wants to succeed and challenge the heavens. When a tragic mistake unlocks a powerful artifact that changes time and space, Kiran's life is forever changed. Danger brings opportunity, and for a young cultivator, there is nothing like pressure to force them to adapt and grow stronger!

For fans of Will Wight's Cradle series, Tao Wong's A Thousand Li series, and Apollos Thorne's Heaven's Laws series, this epic new progression fantasy story is a Western cultivation fantasy novel with light romantic elements.

Great story.

I actually enjoyed this book. It’s interesting and entertaining but there is something missing. I am not sure what but nonetheless I think the story is great: I can’t wait to see the MC’s evolution. Hopefully, I can unearth that missing ingredient in book two.

Well...

The story is not to my taste and does move slow and Im not sure if the Narrator just killed it for me.

LIKE TRYING TO START A FIRE WITH WET WOOD

I first tried the book, but only got a few chapters in before I stopped, that was a few months ago, then I saw the audio version was available so I gave that a try ( I was looking for something to fill the void)however I was only able to get about 4 hours in before I gave up. this just failed to catch my interest and I kept hoping it would pick up as I listened. I have no idea if the rest of the book is any good from what I read/listen to thus far, it was kinda all over the place, hell the book chapters did not line up with the audio chapters some seemed out of order from audio version, maybe it was done to help flow, dunno
