Publisher's summary

Adrian was on his way to work when he was summoned to another world.

A world of magic and monsters, where he finds himself more alive than he has ever been on Earth. But also, where death awaits him in any corner, and he must become stronger.

But at first, before he can even fight, he has to run, because he is too weak to win a battle against even the weakest monster. And that is why he invests all of his Essence Points into his Agility. Which eventually gives him the potential to overcome almost all his enemies— with the small caveat that he does not get hit, of course.

His immense speed also proves useful for him because it allows him to run away from the evil Dryadilis Empire that is hunting him down: powerful elves who want to take over the world. And even though it seems like he was summoned to defeat Empress Shiavarathna to save humankind, that was not why he was summoned. Instead, he was brought to this world by the mysterious Dark Wizard for reasons that are kept unknown.

And as Adrian finds shelter in the City of Dorn to level up and grow stronger in safety, he shall unravel the mystery as to why he was summoned in the first place.

Interesting

I like listening to this book and picturing that this is what the system would sound like if it was real. Good book good story fun times.

I didn't expect virtual voice to be so good

The virtual voice was fairly entertaining. It was pretty straightforward. You almost couldn't tell that it wasn't a human voice, except for on a few occasions, when it would pause, or while it was doing numbers, it would skip or speed through a little, but beyond that, her story was still engaging and I enjoyed. It from first to last

I actually enjoyed it

Not the best book (AI voiced) but I couldn't stop listening either, the story kept moving and while I enjoy litrpg in general, this author managed to do better than most in avoiding "over-numbering everything" and still keep the game aspect of litrpg.

Overall it had a solid story and character development and I look forward to the next one.

first time trying Ai

the story was good. I had a hard time judging how the character leved up with each kill. I liked the passing but I feel the Ai could capture it as having a person read it. the air also messed upon words quite a few times and especially when it came to saying numbers after 10 and ends with 5. 15, 25, 35 and so on. it was funny a fist but gets old fast

Worth the price

Did I miss how he started a fire? I do enjoy that the main character is pragmatic.

Needs a narrator.

Story was awesome, the digital narrator has odd inflections, and pronunciations, which can throw you out of the story, but aside from that, great story and hope for more

terrible AI

I hate that the AI narration is so bland and only has 1 voice for all the characters male and female. makes it sound like 1 person talking to themselves

AI has 0 inflation.

Like the story, the plot line and writing. AI is a bit of an issue. It is hard to gauge the emotions and the action happening on the story given that the AI has no inflation to its voice. It is pretty monotone throughout a lot of the story. There seems to be some punctuation issues towards the end of the story where the AI doesn't know when to stop for a period or a comma and runs through words, making them sound blended.

The AI was good. I don’t care what you said.

The AI was really good most people don’t appreciate it. Everything not being spin fed to them, but it has you to fill in the plot and emotions in some of the places which is actually quite satisfying to me so I don’t really care what you say about the AI it’s still really good. Edit this is an edit. I just wanna say that I am not a bot.lol🤣
