Publisher's summary

It's the 21st century, yet most companies maintain a 20th-century corporate culture. Despite instant communication and collaboration through wireless computers and smartphones, employers needlessly rent or own office space. Bryan Miles has a reality check for you: the future of business is virtual, and it's going to take more than technology upgrades for you to upgrade your workplace environment. In Virtual Culture, visionary entrepreneur Bryan Miles champions the benefits of remote working, which will save your company tons of money and create an atmosphere of trust between you and your employees. Productivity comes from people completing their tasks in a timely, professional, adult manner, not from mandatory daily attendance in a sea of cubicles and offices. When you recognize and respect your employees' time inside and outside work hours, giving them the freedom to work from home, you will retain amazing talent and create a result-oriented virtual culture as a forward-thinking employer that embraces the future of work.

Is ok , but not what I expected

I purchased the audiobook after a conference from the author at sbsw, the mayority of the content was aiming to convince you of why going virtual works, is in demand and will only continue to grow, I am already there my hope was for it to contain more info as to how to make it work.

Tremendous Mind Shift!

This was a really quick and thorough rundown of how to create an extremely valuable culture! I fell in love with this company just off of this 3hour presentation. Lots of relatable stories and lots of practical advice. I thought, just as he mentioned, you haven’t really made it until you have a brick-and-mortar building. But Bryan completely debunked that whole thought process! What an awesome break down. I love this book! And they're in Atlanta, yay!

Ugh. This book should have been a blog post.

Good ideas but belabored by needless repetition. Too much self-congratulation and promotion for his own business/services. Outdated concepts post-pandemic. And the emphasis on God doesn't belong in a book about how to run a business.
