About this listen

Alistair had no choice...

...and now the Commonwealth hunts him.

But are they the only threat?

When the Rebels escaped through the portal, the planet they chose seemed like the perfect place to hide. Shrouded in flames, with underground caves and passages, Alistair knew it would give them a chance to regroup.

He was wrong.

What or who is this dark force that hunts them?

As Dreadnaughts narrow their search and come closer to the planet called Phoenix, it has become clear that their options are limited. Caught between two threats, Alistar knows only one thing: The Commonwealth never forgets or forgives.

What is his next move?

You’ll love this second installment in The Great Insurrection series, because the stakes have grown and only a brilliant gamble can save them.

Great second book in this series..

Wow! Alistair keeps getting bigger and tougher. This time he took over the Commonwealth's Dreadnought (a ship.) He and 4 other members of his crew against 50+ Titans. What a battle that was.
I was sooo glad Alistair beat the hell out of HEL the Assassin. She was so deserving of it.

No romance, except for the undying love between Alistair and Luna, his wife, that he hasn't seen since he escaped and she was told he was dead. The F-bomb was used 21 times.

As for the narration: Simply awesome!

I liked

Liked the story and audible narrative. Par's story is tragic but a testament to the love for his wife. The fight is on for their liberty.

There is lore to dive into!

This book was an excellent addition to the series! I had a blast and looked forward to more. There are so many whispers to a deeper lore that blew me away! Who is this “AllMother…?” this “AllSeer…?”
The action and combat is beyond amazing and it has potential to rise all the more! The characters continue to grow. New ones rise and old ones fall. The world building is epic and there is more added with each book!
Time to move to the next for I am enjoying this series and want more!
