About this listen

Zara Riddle would do anything for her daughter. Zoey Riddle is studious and kind. She's a dream teenager who plays the harp like an angel.

Everything changes when a new boy arrives at Zoey's high school and catches her eye. Soon, Zoey is behaving in a very un-Zoey-like fashion.

What's a mother to do when her perfect teen daughter falls for the baddest boy around?

Besides gather the coven, cast a bunch of half-baked spells, and make everything much, much worse?

Brings Whole New Meaning to Dating the Devil

Parents- PG13- YA to adult geared +17 read
Language- PG- pretty clean and no f-bombs
Violence- nothing super graphic
Sexual Content- PG13- There's some sexual tension and banter, insinuations, but no bedroom scenes

I continue to be surprised that the series isn't dulling... book 14 was just as much of a fun ride as the first although possibly more drama... 14 books and it all happens of the course of a year! No spoilers so this will be short. I love the mysteries, fun and corky characters, and I can't wait to see where they go from here.

Narrator- 5🌟 I love this narrator, she does a fantastic job with the voice differentiation, acting, and is simply a lot of fun to listen to.

Great Read

Wayward Wisteria (Wisteria Witches #14) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Zoey Riddle finds herself in love. Zara will do anything for her daughter who’s a dream teenager that plays the harp like an angel. That all changes when a new boy comes to Zoey’s school and catches her eye. With this new boy brings zoey acting unlike herself. Zara knows she must gather the coven, cast some spells and end up making everything much worse. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.

Oh. My. God.

Oh, there is so much going on in this book! The Riddle women are having a troublesome time, that's for sure.

Zara is really trying, trying to be a better mother, a better girlfriend a better friend... but then, Zoey is dating and Zara just knows that that boy is trouble; and Bentley's ex is in town and just moved next to Zara's demolished house; and the amulet (yes, THAT amulet) is missing and Bentley suspects Zoey and maybe Zara and... and... well, there is only so much that a woman can deal with, isn't it?

The story is really great, fun by moments but with a darker sense permeating it, and the ending! OMG! That ending... *sobs*

Another excellent story in this series, masterly narrated, as usual, by Tiffany Williams.

What the Devil?

As always, author Angela Pepper has presented us with a delightful mix of characters, natural and supernatural, with all their quirkinesses and foibles, in another chapter of the life and times of Wisteria. This time the plot revolves around Zoe's new boyfriend, who is not necessarily what he seems. The ending comes as a rather powerful surprise. Narrator and voice actress Tiffany Williams does her usual phenomenal job bringing everything to life; irony noted, but with regard to plot only.

Wayward Wysteria

Zoey has a new boyfriend and is acting very sassy. Zara calls the coven and they try to zap Zoey back into the lovable teenager she really is. We have the usual cast of hilarious characters and an ending that I can not give away. Such sadness. Tiffany Williams is ,once again, a terrific narrator. Brings out real feelings

Zara makes me cringe often with her colorful, stubborn sometimes ignorant personality. She's definitely a character you love and sometimes look down in shame like, "she did not just do or say that." Or stop Zara, just stop! but you love her all the same, because you know, "Zara is a good witch."
All the characters are wonderful and brilliant, so much that you become attached to them like close family and friends. The crafty imagination that brings this story together is fun and innocent, with a splash of prankish passive aggressiveness. Even the dull characters have their bit of spunk.
This series was the fresh crisp air I needed to expand my imagination juices again. Emotions kicked in hard on this last one, as only a good writer can accomplish.
I love this series so far and happy I found it!
