Great writing and narration!

Didn’t want it to end. Extremely interesting characterization and story. Lucy Dawson is my current favorite read and Georgia maguire is a genius narrator (though best to stay away from attempting the American accent-the only piece that wasn’t spot on). Dawson’s characters and story lines seem to start out flat but as the story progresses the reader gains a deeper understanding of the characters and you find that there are one or two that you surprisingly begin to empathize with. At first one thinks they won’t like any of the characters. Push through and you’ll find she was setting the stage for a complicated situation with a good number of surprises. Only problem with the ending was it came too soon! We’ll worth the credit! Looking for another audiobook with this pairing of author and narrator.

Not my favorite Lucy Dawson, but still good.

This is definitely not my favorite Lucy Dawson story. But even so, something about her writing always keeps me completely engaged in the story. I think it's her character building. But I'm not really sure. I love her writing style. I will continue to read everything she writes. The narration by Georgia Maguire was excellent. Five stars for the narration.

Slow disappointment

I loved Don't Ever Tell by Lucy Dawson and couldn't wait to listen to another book by her. I thought she was one of my new favorite authors. I kept waiting for the same with this book, but it never came. It's a flop.

So disappointing

This book was so good, until the end ! I do not understand! Who leaves it with that ending ? Is there a sequel ?

Don’t bother

The book itself was not bad however the ending was likely the worst I’ve “read” I a very long time. I rarely write reviews but if I can help someone not waste all the time getting to such a dumb uneventful ending it’ll be worth it

Frustrated

What a story without a resolve. I am not happy. I held on til the end with baited breath. Only not to have an ending. As if I was ease dropping on a conversation in a waiting room and wasn't prevy to how it ended.
