From a challenge of faith to a means of transformation: Did God really say you couldn't eat from any tree in the garden? This seed of doubt planted so long ago bears the fruit of fear on some level every day - the idea that our actions could ruin something beautiful and God might not have control over things. In What Women Fear, acclaimed writer and speaker Angie Smith admits, "Fear is a major part of my testimony," as she talks openly about significant struggles she has experienced. Giving a voice to the problem, she says, "I truly believe every single one of us struggles with some type of fear, whether it's fear of flying or fear of being 'found out.' Maybe you don't worry about dying, but you get sick thinking about the fact that you might fail."
Instead of suggesting that those who love the Lord would never fear, Angie blends her own experiences with those of men and women throughout Scripture to help us start dealing more effectively with these true, human emotions. Whether it's a constant What if? type of worry, being afraid of abandonment or betrayal, fear of trusting God's plan, or many others encountered in the rhythm of our daily lives, Angie walks you through stories of others who have simultaneously loved God and struggled with faith. Journey with her as she explores the difficult and life-giving questions God asked of those who walked a similar road.
Discover how to redeem this struggle as only God can - that He will be glorified, and you will be transformed.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I called a girlfriend to recommend this book to her before I was past chapter six. I would recommend it to every woman who has ever had an aspect of her life controlled by fear. This audiobook was a blessing to me and I only wish I had discovered it much, much earlier."What Women Fear" brought scripture into context as a learning tool in daily life as I have never experienced before. Suddenly the women of the Bible and the Disciples became human with similar fears. The extent of their faith in handling these fears determined their degree of success or their shortcomings and the discipline God gave to them. Similarly, the smallness of my own faith has allowed the enemy to control my live through fear in both action and inaction.
What other book might you compare What Women Fear to and why?
This book is incomparable to any I have read or listened to date. What does Pam Turlow bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Pam Turlow's narration was like having a close girlfriend bare her soul, warts and all, at the kitchen table over coffee or tea. I especially appreciated the way she was able to humbly convey the message of fear as a tool of the enemy and faith as God's tool in turning over our fears for Him to bear if we only will.If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Fear is the tool Satan uses to keep women from the potential God created us to achieve.Any additional comments?
Buy it for yourself, give it to a friend. This book and the relationship it encourages with the living God is a life transformative message of how to handle the fears present in our own lives.Amazing, insightful and inspirational
