About this listen

Gordon Korman's next stand-alone novel, a fun, funny ghost story about a nobody kid who becomes a somebody while helping a ghost right a wrong from the past.

When 12-year-old Cooper Vega moves for the third time in five years, he receives a state-of-the-art smartphone to help him stay in touch with old friends. He's had phones before, but this one is buggy and unpredictable. When a boy named Roderick Northrop communicates with him through the phone, Cooper realizes that his phone isn't buggy at all; the thing is haunted!

I listened to this book to help my 7th grader write a book report. What I did not expect is to learn so much about Shakespeare myself! It is a very good book and a wonderful way to teach people about Shakespeare!

Every 7th grader should read this book!

Me and my sisters have listened to Whatshisface at least 3 times. The narrator is amazing, the story is easy to follow, and overall it’s one I will definitely be listening to again. I love Shakespeare, and definitely recommend this book to anyone who agrees with me.

Five stars!

I love Shakespeare but this book is much better. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the reader, his voice sounds a bit weird. But other than that I honestly suggest that if you are looking for a good story then you can count on whatsisface

I love Shakespeare I love this book even more!

I enjoyed the storyteller’s accent when he played the part of Roddy. I especially liked how Gordon Korman writes stories about characters in middle school, it makes it easier to relate to.

I enjoyed the plot twist and hilarious plunger incident.

Fun and entertaining I enjoyed this perspective of a classic play. Although kids don’t necessarily like Old English this was a first beginner lesson in understanding
