Very useful resource

A great book for women in this phase, and I'd argue that it has information that is useful in perimenopause as well. I liked that the focus and tone aren't about menopause being a drag but about changing the narrative to thriving during that time. I found the information to be well-balanced, so there's evidence-based information and holistic offerings to improve quality of life. Highly recommend this audiobook.

Important Information for Women of a Certain Age

This book is a great resource that uses medical science along with practical advice for women going through menopause. The author has a nursing background and offers different approaches that address all aspects of transition. I've been dealing with symptoms for awhile, so some of this wasn't new to me. However, the information about gut and heart health was very helpful! It was also nice to have repeated that this isn't a doom and gloom scenario, but something that is a natural part of aging that has solutions and practices to incorporate into our daily lives.
