I really appreciated the candor and transparency that Dr. Haver showed in her past as a board certified OBGYN. She is making up for lost time and helping educate, provide research to back the science of menopause related issues and helping women help other women. Excited to have co-lead this book in a book club with other ladies! The tool kits to take action and questions for book club have been so helpful in this dialogue with others.

I listened to this on my morning walks as a way to start, figuring out what is wrong with me lately. It only confirmed everything I knew, including the many practitioners who can’t/won’t help you. And it has given me new insight and ways to advocate for myself. I highly recommend if you are experiencing any symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.

Whether you have officially entered perimenopause or not, all women over the age of 35 should read this book!! Taught me so many things about my body and my hormones that I have never learned from a doctor or my mother. Invaluable to discover resources and Eye-opening to discover all of the many symptoms that are within the menopause spectrum. Definitely leans heavily toward hormonal therapy, but even if you aren’t going to use hormones to solve your problems, still a must read.
