Highly recommend for anyone raising a boy

My favorite book about raising a son. As a women who was raised in a home without boys, this was a much needed book. I love how he clearly touches on al the different stages and doesn’t over simplify and assume all boys are exactly the same. I cannot think of a subject he didn’t touch on. My husband is also listening to it amd is really enjoying it and even learning about himself. Thank you for touching on even the most difficult subjects that so many are embarrassed to speak of. I am sure this is a book I will listen to repeatedly.

Not Just About Boys!

Not only did I learn tips for understanding my son, but I learned about my husband as well! I’ve often thought his emotional maturity was that of a teenager, but as it’s explained here, it makes so much sense. It’s helped me understand and react differently to him as well.

Great and relevant advice

I liked the way the authors breakdown boy age groups and behavior accordingly . Good addition to parent library especially if you have daughters and sons. Gives ideas on others books to read for parents , books for boys and movies you can see with your kids that enrich their learning and yours as well. It also shed a lot of light on why adult men behave the way they do when it comes to parenting ...nice surprise . AVS

Great book to gain insight of my precious son!

I loved this book, I didn’t wanna stop listening to it and I wish I read it sooner! So many great ways to relate to my son in every stage of life and I love all the ways that this book dares you to keep your son little and exploring yet being able to then guide him into his adult years, this book is perfect for mom and dad!

Great read for learning how to rear your boy(s)

Great read for beginning your journey on principles and rearing your boy. the authors did an excellent job of pulling out significant boy themes and developmental stages and giving practical strategies for the parent/caregiver to execute. This book is written by Christian psychologist who seem to have a good handle on real-world boy life. the insights seem to be non-judgemental and empirically and experientially based. this would definitely be a great addition to a parent's library. The authors do a good job of giving other books and resources to explore.

Yes!

Hands down recommend for anyone with boys. I was raised in a family with 4 girls and no close male relatives other than my dad. His methods of parenting go right along with ours. They recommend love and logic which is good for younger children but I think no drama discipline would be my first recommendation over that. Thanks for all the good info. Looking forward to checking out your other books.

This book awesome

This book gave me an idea on my son & an introduction on what it is to raise a boy ; many of the things said my kid does some of the funny things . I enjoyed this book and recommend it to moms like me whom actually didn’t have a clue about the difference in raising boys and the emotions behind them .

Thanks to the authors .
