honestly I am loving the story, already got the next book and cant wait to read it. the books get better and better Nd the story is fantastic!!!!

I've listened to the authors other works which is why I became interested in this one. I enjoy the mix of both the action and other mundane parts of the story. I know that sounds odd, but the fact the author can make both enjoyable is one of the reasons I enjoy it so much. the voice actors are another reason. they mesh well together and make the back and forth between them seem very natural. I don't normally give my opinions on books, however I felt compelled to encourage others to give this series a listen to.

This series is in my top 5 ever and each book just gets better and better. I love the post apocalyptic story and each character has their own charm. I can't wait to see where the story goes. Very highly recommended.

this book was mostly good, in fact the only bad part well trying to avoid spoilers.
the antagonists of this book, where they are, the reaction of the main group to them all felt weak,silly or unbelievable.

beyond that still good fun relaxing series to listen to.

Repetitive - at first these books were light and entertaining but over time the girls accents and the forced dialogue just starts to drive me nuts, not sure I’m gonna finish this one.

All around a good listen it does get repetitive at times. I do like the way you showed the hillbilliy’s emotions. Like when “momma” went down and the kids didn’t immediately go to retaliate and instead mourned trully showed that even with a monsterous family like them they didn’t lose all human emotion, like the last guy arrived at the end of the fight and despaired at finding his family dead one after the other and cried more for them then for his own life (what I want to believe). Still a terrible family the only thing I could think at the time was hope your next life was not so unfortunate. I also have no sympathy for what they have done so don’t yell at for that.

Ive said it before, this wanna be writer uses the word “Said” every 6 or 7 words!! He has to say “so and so said” after EVERY FREEKING TIME a character speaks!! Even when the character has a long dialogue, he WILL NOT dedicate a paragraph to that character during the conversation & allowing the reader to know that specific character is talking. Nope, this idiot has to put “I said” or that “character said” after EVERY SENTENCE IN THE PARAGRAPH THE CHARACTER IS SPEAKING!!! That is SOOO BEGINNER LEVEL for anyone trying to write!!! I dont understand how eric vall got his trash published unless he self published his crap! Cause no respectable publisher will want their company associated with his name and his horrible writing!!!
The male narrator in this audiobook speaks very specific words describing certain parts of female anatomy like he was once traumatized by it trying to bite off his middle leg!! It is very friggin embarrassing to know some “MAN” is out there trying to portray male characters as warriors and tough and intelligent but his voice sounds like he is a eunuch or full on cowardly fool!!
There should be a law prohibiting this narrator from narrating. It should also be highly illegal for eric vall to write books!!! This is absolutely a most horrible concoction of an ignorant writer, ridiculous narrator and over priced garbage!!!!
