This is a good story. It really seems to follow the whole pack and a not just two individuals. There is a lot in here on Seb (the Alpha) and his mate Katalina. This does seem to continue along with the previous books. I have not read them and did not really struggle to follow along.

Anna is a good character. She has had struggles her whole life with her gift and people’s perception. This was shown well a couple different times. Cage is a unknown other than a wolf shifter. I really didn’t connect with him that much.

The story was stolen by Katalina and her packs. There is a ton in here about her struggles and her life. One of my fav characters is Toby. At times I think he is a youngster but others he seems older.

My other issue are the inconsistencies in the story. One min the character is in wolf then it talks about the shirt he is wearing then later it’s says he shifted back to human.

While this is supposed to be about Anna and Cage. It seems to be a continuation of previous books and the lives of those characters. Mostly Seb the alpha and Katalina with a portion on Anna and Cage.

Although the blurb says that this is Cage and Anna's story, Kat and Bass have key roles. Cage is running away from heartbreak, while Anna is running from family members that don't understand her psychic gift which is more like a curse to her. Will Cage believe her in time to save one of his pack members. The author has a story full of mystery, action, heartbreak, warring packs, loyal friends, and love. There was so much happening that I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. The narrators allowed the listener to experience the characters' emotions. Believe me, this story is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The narrators are talented storytellers who are a pleasure to listen to and enjoy.. I highly recommend this Audible book.

I love this series so far! The moment I finish a book I can't wait to start the next one. It's predictable yet gives just enough suspense and hints of romance to keep it intriguing and you wanting more!

This is my first paranormal book by Rachel Raithby. Cage and Anna’s story demonstrates how people with the best intentions can still get it wrong. Although Cage and Anna’s situations are completely different and unrelated, both need one another to obtain what they most desire! Everyone has to struggle a bit at some point to build true character! However, you know what they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions so sometimes it’s best for others to mind their own business!! Ada Sinclair and Logan McAllister are both new narrators to me and did a good job with their performances. Overall this was an enjoyable experience for me.
