You're going to have fun

While I'm getting a little tired of horror books and movies about horror fans, this book is so much fun. A fast, easy listen that gives you everything you want and the narration is perfect.

Very well done

I never leave reviews, but I was so stunned at the twists and turns that I had to. Great read! Some of the monologues were a bit extra but otherwise, really good!!!

There's a twist that I was not expecting!!

I really enjoyed listening to this story. I like the back story of the main character and how she has always felt like an outsider at home. The summer job of working at camp Mirror Lake seemed like what she looked forward to, The narrator was amazing while I was listening to it. I think that she really embodied each character. I liked the way the story evolved into something a lot more than I expected. That twist at the end when she goes back to camp is something I was not expecting at all. Overall I really enjoyed the story and it was a quick listen.

Is there a part 2

It hurt my heart in the end….but there was just a bit of joy. It started out slow….but eventually picked up where it needed too. There are parts of the book where I could swear I was in this mini horror thriller.

The twists and how I never knew what would happened next

I adore the narrator who preformed the reading, it got me very attached and drew me in more and more. The story is phenomenal as well, I could hardly wait for the next chapter.

Creepy Slow Burn

I didn’t know what to expect going into this outside of maybe a Friday the 13th knock-off. Yeah it does sort of have that, but the slow burn to the horror was worth the investment. The twists aren’t amazing, but two of them really did catch me off-guard at the finale

Loved the ending

I started this hoping for a comfort read and expecting a run of the mill slasher. I got that but also got characters I loved and an unexpected double twist ending!

Wait . . . I like and don't like the ending lol

Kalynn just knows how to throw a twist in a story! I wasn't ready for this twist! I didn't like it when it happened . . . But I do like the final outcome. It's not a HEA it's a strained HFN but I'll take it!

quite a good read

liked the story and it's pacing and the narrator did good to keep the story going. I loved the multiple twists and guessing and I especially liked it wasn't quite so stereotypical of slashers a few aspects were but fit just right I'd read it again
