**THE #1 AMAZON BESTSELLER AND TIKTOK VIRAL SENSATION**

Mean Girls meets Scream in this heart-pounding psychological thriller about a group of friends stranded on an island with a serial killer on the loose. Bestselling author Rektok Ross returns with this “clever” locked-room thriller (Publishers Weekly) that is “impossible to put down” (Collider).

Riley March and her friends are headed to ritzy, remote Palm Key Island for one last blow-out party weekend before college. It’s the vacation of a lifetime: beautiful beaches, epic nightlife, and hot guys like Riley’s crush—superstar soccer player Sebastian Ramos. There’s just one catch. Everyone on this trip is hiding something. Riley is hiding her past in order to fit in. Sebastian is hiding his feelings for Riley. And someone is hiding what really happened to Jordyn Chang, a classmate that mysteriously died last summer.

Things take a dark turn after one of their friends goes missing, and a hurricane cuts the group off from civilization. Trapped inside their rental house, a killer stalks them one by one. No one is safe. Everyone’s a suspect. As the body count rises, Riley and her friends will have to confront the secrets they’ve been keeping if they want to stay alive…

Literally the best book I’ve read in years, finished it in a day and a half. Got so attached to the relatable characters and loved everything about the book, just bought Ski Weekend going to read that next. I just hope rektok Ross keeps up on this amazing book streak in this genre😍 she deserves to win awards for this!

Intense

At first I thought this was going to be a little too much mean girls for me, but when I got about 1/3 the way in, I was hooked and didn’t want to stop listening. The suspense is s

Predictable but still entertaining

They advertise this as a cross between Scream and Mean Girls. They got the Mean Girls part right but if I would compare it to another 90's slasher it would be I Know What You Did Last Summer. A majority of the characters are unlikeable but I'm guessing that's the point so we're kind of rooting for them to die. I wad able to guess the killer and motive correctly based on a scene maybe a quarter of the way into the story then with what you discover about another character maybe 1/3 into the story. The author did a good job with red hearings because I was second guessing myself with information you discover about other characters and I was thinking there's no way someone that predictable would be the killer. Yep. Predictable. I could definitely see this being a PG-13 horror movie (R depen.ding on how graphic they show the kills)

Good Story Reflections of Toxic Female Relationships

I thought the author was creative in the way she explored and portrayed a topic most women have experienced on some level. Of course this story catapults every mean girl situation to extreme proportions. But like any toxic relationship the ramifications can be long lasting and even self destructive. Great character development with such an array of different personalities. I really enjoyed listening to this audio.

Narration was excellent as characters were given their own voice and even dialect. Definitely added to the depth of the story!!

Really flawed story and whiny performance

So Ri Ri sees a guy out in the yard in a yellow rain coat dragging what looks to be a body and the others are like you’re crazy, you were dreaming it. And then later they say oh you didn’t know a guy in a yellow raincoat killed everyone in this house years ago. That about sums up the brains of this story. Also great lines like “The older Primordial bird part of my brain” tells our Ri Ri to investigate further. Or “Roxy was a person not a breakfast item.”
