text to speech has more emotion

I tried but couldn't take more than an hour and almost a half of this monotone one note narr. . .reader. I can take the speed of his reading but not the total lack of emotion or inflection.

Not bad. Run of the mill Zomb Apoc.

Good enough to make me want to purchase the next book in the series. Beginning is a bit of a drag but make your way through it. Also secondary storyline about the little girl from his dream just waylayed and a bit unrealistic, kid doesn't even seem to care that her parents are dead and world is trying to kill her

I enjoyed the point of view and the story. It was a really good read, but I did not like the narrator. but all in all I would recommend this book

What a great read!

Any additional comments?

Dan is an interesting character, who evolves as the story plays out. A thoroughly enjoyable take on the Zompoc in settings I could relate to. Excellent book!

Not bad

Yea there are some places where the writing isn’t perfect and the narrator doesn’t take breaths between chapters, but it’s still pretty good. Almost non-stop action. Evil entity starts the infection to, as in the title, cull the people. Question is what people. MC is truly an average dude surrounded by some of the best. So far his thinking is what is his talent. On to the next.

Refreshing take on the Zombie Apocalypse

This first book in James Wallace's Zombie Theorem series is a fresh take on the Zombie Apocalypse. Written from the viewpoint of a survivor trapped with co-workers in a skyscraper when the first signs of a pandemic surface, Mr. Wallace's story aptly captures the confusion, terror, and ultimate awakening of a survivor that results from the experience. I look forward to seeing where character development with Dan, Brian and the Crew goes and exactly what twists and turns Zombie Theorem has in store for me. Definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

it was a fine zombie story.

The story in itself was good. just a regular zombie story, and i like zombie stories. nothing new or interesting.

But the narrator was absolutely the worst ive ever heard. he was just monotonous. He just read the book in a flat voice the same for all the characters and every scene. in an action packed zombie book. the book would probably be alot better if the narrator was better. ill read the next book to see what happens, but ill just read it on kindle. if its on kindle unlimited.

i wont get another audible book read by Michael Jameson.

this is where it all starts

I've read the dead tree version before listening to audible. It took me a while to get used to listening to audible as the voices in my head weren't what was coming out of my headphones. Once I got used to listening to Michael Jameson I was hooked. I've listened to ZT 1 at least 6 times and might even go back for a few more times.
