About this listen

Meet the most unlikely person to survive a zombie apocalypse.

David Hall is 30 years old, divorced, and a self-proclaimed wine connoisseur. He has no business venturing into a world of flesh-hungry monsters. But when a phone call from his diabetic sister gets disconnected, he knows he's the only one who can provide her the care she needs.

Seeking help from his gun-toting survivalist brother-in-law and his ex-wife, David must make a dangerous journey across the city of Asheville. But the real danger isn't the zombies he'll have to face, or the threat of certain death; it's what kind of man he'll become if he survives the trip.

This zombie apocalypse comedy is Douglas Adams meets Max Brooks. Download now to sink your teeth into this hilarious adventure.

nice alternative to the normal prepper book

enjoyed this book. It's well thought-out as far as storyline development. and it definitely has some comic flare to it. The main character David has a sense of humor that most people in the book are annoyed by. which makes it pretty funny. They're definitely was room in the ending for an additional book. If written ill listen to it! the narrator did a great job.

LOVED IT

The narrator was spot on throughout the story, really made the whole book come together.

it made me laugh, it made me hate someone *cough * Sharon *cough*, it also made the book a puzzle to figure out since it's set in a real city.

If you're like me, you're always busy, always doing something for someone; but stop, take the time to at least download it and give it a try. You will find yourself always wanting to come back to listen for more.

Another twist on the undead

The author was able to take a story that’s becoming fairly familiar, and add a new perspective, as well as just enough humor, to keep things interesting. The main characters reluctance to accept what’s going on around him, and his unwillingness to forego his standards of cleanliness, both add some authenticity (when many people could have a similar reaction), as well as some great opportunities for a clever pun. The story is just long enough to feel like you’re getting a full story, without dragging on about unneeded details. Overall, I really enjoyed this read, and will be looking forward to more from this author!

This was SO GOOD! An end-of-the-world must read!

I'd read this book before it was out on Audible. I fell in love with it then. Clever, witty, LOL funny, this story is charming in an endearing way. Then I heard it come to life! (David that pun was for you) The narrator really made this special. Bravo for both author and narrator.

Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who likes their end times on the lighter side. Be sure to enjoy with a glass of wine.
