Book 11 and it’s all the same. The characters are annoying and every other introduction is fodder.

Over 32 hours and we only get a few hours into the apocalypse.

Ok, so I like the characters but they're dumb as hell. Talking, joking and posturing when they should be doing something or just shutting the hell up. They're smart but clearly have flawed personalities. But they all share the common flaw of just being stupid under stress. It's like they just don't learn. Stupidity includes: "I can't shoot the zombie because I might hit the person they're about to bite." Or "You bastard, you grazed my son's arm with a bullet wheen you saved him from being eaten by a hoarde of zombies." The latter was brought up over and over.

I've really enjoyed this series so far. My only real complaint is that more than once a mistake was made with names. Changing a characters name completely or just switching names with another character. I think some of it might be the narrator misreading to be fair. But I'd still recommend this series for Zombie apocalypse lovers!

Good storyline

I love a good book series, however, I expect to have a full story in each "book", not continuous 'to be continued' endings. I feel ripped off, basically there is one story here that is broken into 13 different books to purchase that never tells a complete story. The characters and situations are good and the narration is well done, howver if you are going to try this definately get the sets, so you get a full size book for the price you are paying.
