I Wonder Who The Last Reader Of This Book Will Be is a selection of poems containing poetry translated from Hebrew and Spanish, two languages in which Mois Benarroch expresses himslef. For the first time, it also includes poems from his novels, making it a great introduction to his work. Poems are selected from the books: Keys to Tetouan, Gates to Tangier, The Book of Lashes, One Farewell May Hide Another, Brown Scarf Blues, Ways to Lucena. הם היו ארבעה שיצאו לג´ונגל הבוליביאני: קארל, עבריין אוסטרי שהתחזה לגיאולוג, מרקוס השוויצרי, קווין האמריקני ויוסי גינסברג, צעיר ישראלי מרמת גן, שיצא לטיול הגדול לדרום אמריקה. שנה קודם לכן הוא עבד באלסקה כדי לחסוך כסף למסע, עבד בעבודות מזדמנות בניו יורק, התגנב לאוניית שעשועים בפוארטו ריקו והגיע כנוסע סמוי לאיי הבתולה. את ונצואלה וקולומביה חצה בטרמפים ובג´ונגל של אקוודור התארח אצל שבט אינדיאנים. בפרו הוא פגש את מרקוס וביחד נסעו לבוליביה, שם נפגשו עם קווין ועם קארל. הימים שלאחר כניסתם לג´ונגל היו מסמרי שיער, וכשכ גבר הרעב נאלצו לאכול קופים. כעבור זמן מה התפרקה החבורה.

רצח מסתורי, פרשת-אהבים חשאית, דירת מסתור שאיש אינו יודע מה מתרחש בה באמת — אלה הם כמה מצירי העלילות שהרומאן הזה, המתרחש כולו בתל אביב, בנוי מהן. מקצת גורלות החיים המצוירים כאן מתקיימים זה בצד זה, ומקצתם נפגשים, נתקלים, ואף נחבטים זה בזה בכוח. בתוך כך מתחוללות דרמות קטנות וגדולות, עצב מתערבב עם צחוק, טרגדיה נושקת לגרוטסקה, וכך הולכת ונטווית פיסת נוף תל אביבית עכשווית: סביב בית-דירות, משרדים, רחובות, גינה ציבורית, ובייחוד סביב האנשים, שקורמים כאן עור וגידים, חיים ונושמים מכוח כתיבתו המדויקת, הקולעת כל-כך של הסופר.

"גופה של לווייתן כחול נשטפה לחופי העיירה אַרקָטָה ביום שבת", כך מתחיל יובל דותן בספר הביכורים המרהיב שלו מסע מסחרר לתוך עולם של אקראיות, אבסורד, נונסנס ועצבות בלתי מזככת. אותה גופה של לווייתן מתחילה בעצם שרשרת של אירועים פנימיים בחייו של אלן הרשקוביץ, אחד הטייסים שנאלץ להעביר אותה בעזרת מסוק למשכן האוניברסיטה המקומית. אותה טיסה שגרתית לכאורה הופכת לטיסה המשמעותית ביותר של חייו. הוא מרחף מעל הים, אבל בעצם נוסק פנימה אל תוך נפשו, אל תוך זיכרונותיו, אל תוך הים האפל הפרטי שלו, והוא עולה משם שונה לגמרי, מבין שהוא חייב לשנות את חייו ולו במעט, אך אין לו מושג מה בדיוק לשנות בהם.
