'All minors stand to one side and hold your ears!' The hall was filled with excitement, this phrase was strange to all of us, it had been a long time since we had crossed the walls of puberty so we looked at Dishekre standing in front of us in amazement. Dishakre laughed devilishly and said, "He who has recited 'Jhootay Roop Ke Darshan' is an adult and he who is still deprived of it is a minor, so quickly decide which of you is the minor and the adult."

Story
Sawar aur doosray Afsanay is the first collection of short stories by Shamsur Rahman Faruqui. The theme of this collection of stories is the Indian culture of that time, narrated through 18th-century Delhi. The 18th century has probably been the most controversial in India's history of the last thousand years. According to the historiography that makes up the consciousness of modern India, it was an age of decadence and arrogance. In contrast, Shamsur Rahman Faruqi depicts in detail that Indian society was presenting the most developed view of a mixed Hindu-Muslim tradition.

Alice Scott is an eternal optimist still dreaming of her big writing break. Hayden Anderson is a Pulitzer-prize winning human thundercloud. And they’re both on balmy Little Crescent Island for the same reason: To write the biography of a woman no one has seen in years—or at least to meet with the octogenarian who claims to be the Margaret Ives. Tragic heiress, former tabloid princess, and daughter of one of the most storied (and scandalous) families of the 20th Century.

But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance.
