Aurora Prescott leaves for New York, recovering from a recent tragedy, and Robert has a final confrontation with Miss Logan. Charles Prescott is now the President of a new Railroad company - however he soon discovers that while his financial empire is building at an extraordinary rate, his family is falling apart.
