The light of the sun is blocked out by the tattered war banners of the youngest princess, Acacia Odofredus Krone, and her wicked servant—the Black Knight. However, this new glory is not without downsides. The Holy-Church, threatened by Isaiah’s presence in the world, begins to make moves alongside the cruel, strange Witch Perchta, who holds a deep resentment towards Isaiah for her misgivings about their past that she is unable to forgive.

The war against the last bastion of humanity continues beneath the shadow of the gargantuan world tree. Monsters still rise from the brackish blackwater in droves, charging toward the final holdout fortress with claws and teeth bared. But now, the once-lone pilot from another world is no longer alone in his defense of what remains of the world tree valley—the last holdout of life on the planet. His brutal war machine has ramped up in full strength, and steel machinations are brought out to the frontlines in order to fight back against the unseen enemy power.

After the death of his beloved mother, Swain is left at the mercy of his drunken father. His only respite from all the beatings and abuse lies in the words he scribbles down, seeking beauty in an ugly world through poetry. He has no friends until one day he meets a girl near his mother's grave. A restless spirit who calls herself Goose, over the years she encourages Swain's creativity, eventually helping him tap into a magical ability he never knew he possessed: a dark energy entwined with his despair, fueled by his anger, and controlled by his poetic verse.

It’s all come to an end. After the events of the east, there’s only one city left where Fresh and her new family can hide from the dangers of the world, desperately clinging to the last hope of normality that the four of them share under the boughs of the great world-tree that hang far over their heads in the central city of the nation.

Having been forced to abandon their home in the cold, western mountains, Fresh and her friends make a bid to move across the nation in their desperate search for a place where they can live in peace together. This drives them towards the distant east, to the dry, harsh desert and the ocean city—the nation’s most thriving port of call.

After the chaotic events of the night of the witches’ moon in the north, the witch Fresh and her friends are forced to escape from the fervently zealous and corrupt city with the Holy-Church nipping at their heels. They make their way through the great wild-lands, moving towards the distant western city, the city in the mountain, high in the peaks—one of the world’s last remaining natural high-magic zones.

One year after the cataclysmic invasions of monsters and demons against the world of the living, the forces of humanity have banded together under a united war banner as they breach the veil and begin the final strike against the unseen enemy that resides in the corrupted heavens—Tango. Following in the steps of the war hero Pilot, the denizens of the magical world begin to lay down their wands and swords in favor of guns, heavy artillery, and warships.

The war has begun, with the tensions between the elves and the humans having violently exploded. Hineni, as one of the nation’s weapon smiths, is pulled into service for the cause, making countless of the Owl-God’s enchanted weapons to supply the human military with as they’re all dragged down towards the south, towards the war front where they must establish a new presence and home, right on the edge of the battlefield. As tensions rise between the mortal races, so too do those between the gods.
