Many people are in the midst of a high conflict court and custody battle with a narcissist. They begin to experience the narcissist’s gas-lighting and wrath in many ways. Not only do they experience this, however. They find that their child is the victim of gaslighting and brainwashing also. The non-narcissist doesn’t realize that the other parent brainwashes the child and triangulates the child against them. Eventually, the child begins to detest and hate the non-narcissistic parent.The non-narcissistic parent never knows what they did wrong to deserve their own child hating them.

OCPD is the abbreviation for a group of mental symptoms that are collectively called obsessive compulsive personality disorder. Many people confuse OCPD with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). People can have both; however, OCPD is a pervasive condition that affects the person's entire life and all interactions. A person with OCPD may justify their rigidity and inflexibility using the morals and values their family instilled in them.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, "IED affects as many as 7.3 percent of adults - 11.5-16 million Americans". It is also estimated by NIMH that "six million...adolescents...meet the criteria for an IED diagnosis".

Many of my listeners come to me with many questions about their interactions with narcissists. They want to know how to outsmart the narcissists who are making them feel as though they are going crazy. Some of them want to learn how to interact better with their narcissists. Many readers are truly baffled by their partners. They aren't sure whether to love them or leave them.

If you are feeling this way, my friend, there is a simple explanation. You may be dating or married to a narcissist. Your self-absorbed partner may be gaslighting and manipulating you. He may cycle between love-bombing and distancing himself from you. He seems to be a nice guy to your face sometimes, but then you find out that he is talking bad about you to others. He seems to triangulate you with other women or family members in order to make you jealous and boost his own ego.

Anxiety can escalate to another level. When a person is exposed to traumatic or negative events where they feel little or no control in the outcome, the anxiety can turn into post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). If you have enough recurring events in your life that are traumatic, you may even be diagnosed with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD).

Many of us are battling depression, anxiety, mental illness, or personality disorders. We feel anxious, frustrated, and overwhelmed. We don't have the support systems to help lift us up and to help us cope with the stressors of daily life. We want to make things better for ourselves, but we may be at a loss as to how to do so. One of the first steps in fixing your life and your anxiety is to learn how to regulate your emotions. Our emotions cause us to feel out of control sometimes.

The narcissist is a force to be reckoned with. He has a nihilistic view of the world. He views his life as pointless. He has no religion, and most narcissists will actively consider themselves as being agnostic or atheistic. He has no guided purpose in his life. He is bored and listless. The only thing that gives a narcissist real pleasure is seeing other people in emotional pain, confusion, and suffering at his hands.

You want to feel needed and loved, but you don't know why he is treating you this way. He used to be romantic, maybe even sending flowers and staying up talking to you on the phone all night long. Now you can't seem to drag his attention away from other things. Is it something you did?

The narcissist is a force to be reckoned with. He is the reason that the courts are filled with nasty custody and divorce battles. He is passive-aggressive, fatalistic, negativistic, critical and stubborn. The narcissist uses many tactics to alienate the children from others in their life.
