Let me begin by saying I am passionate about history. I love the lifestyles of the bygone eras. I love how tough and yet how simple life was. Sleeping under the stars was a regular life for some. Traveling the lands was the life for others. The book you are about to listen to is in the public domain. And for that, I am thankful. That way, I can keep it as much to the original as possible.

This book does fall into the same universe as my other series of books I call the Noir series. In those books you can hear about the gritty world of detectives, reporters, and gangsters. Well, that world exists here as well except here you have men and women who are willing to work outside of the law on both sides to get a job done. Whereas the other books focus on the aforementioned detectives, private and otherwise, here the focus is more on the ones that hide who they are.

Cash Hollow: It is a short strip of road nestled between hills cutting through between two streets, Lake View and Austin springs. I grew up in the heart of the '80s; that was my era and, in my opinion, one of the best times for a young man to grow up.

Animals were like something from the prehistoric age, from giant box turtles to otters; it was wild, but most of all, it could be scary. It was dark without any overhead street, lamps, or even guardrails to keep a car from tumbling down mountainous ravines; it was a magical, treacherous, spooky place to grow up, and I loved it.
