Reborn on Gryndor with the mythical trait [Divine Witness], Ajax swears to live a life of no regrets. This time, he will seize every opportunity, fight every monster, and plunder every treasure as he enjoys life to the fullest. If only it were that easy. Humans are considered one of the weakest sentient races, confined to their patch of land but that hasn't changed their nature as they fight amongst themselves forced to split their sources of power instead of unite for the greater whole

Returning from his time in the cities’s militia, Ajax comes to find out his village was destroyed and his mentor was injured due to the whims of a spoiled noble. He knows there is nothing that can be done, as he is now, but luckily for him a dungeon nearby offers the perfect opportunity to train before heading to the Capital. But once he gets there what will he find? A way to heal his mentor? Support to grow even stronger? Nobles who want to use him for their own ends? Maybe all of the above.

Ajax’s life in the capital takes a new twist as he joins the Academy. Everyday interactions with the most talented members of his own generation. The chance to delve the dungeons present in the capital with some regularity, testing himself against the strongest challenges the kingdom has to offer. Experiments with alchemy? As his family prepares to move to the capital. Will everything continue smoothly? Or will he face difficulties in his climb through society?
