About this listen

Did you want a nice, pat ending about Jonathan and Monica riding off into the sunset?

Did you want rainbows and stars? All soft filters and violins?

They're not fighting over who cleans the bathroom or whose turn it is to cook dinner. They were never destined for simple contentment.

Monica almost committed murder for Jonathan. She almost tore them apart to save him. How do you get back on the horse when nothing is the same? Nothing.

They've earned their happily ever after. Now they have to survive it.

Amazing Series!

Part 9 of 9: The final conclusion to Jonathan and Monica's love story. It was real and raw. It gave us a look at what struggles a married couple would go through after dealing with the aftermath of a heart transplant and a new career in the beginning of a marriage. There was no interference from the ex wife, the ex boyfriend or even the evil father. It was just them.

This couple went through a lot in the short time they have been together. I would have liked more fluff for their last book but I still very much enjoyed it. I've loved the whole series. I like these two and for the most part, I liked how they handled everything that was thrown against them.

I listened to the audiobooks for this series and the narrators were fantastic. This is one of the rare cases where I think the narrators enhanced the books. I highly recommend listening to them.

Great ending

Great ending to a really awesome series! I went in completely blind, unsure what to think! I’m so, so glad I listened to this series! I thoroughly enjoyed it! The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the singing...it wasn’t bad, I’m just not a fan of singing in books. Other than that, A+ on all parts!

Amazing

I’ve read Jonathan & Monica’s story and now I’m hooked and going for the rest. It’s a great story and has made me smile as much as cry. In regards to the note at the end.. Every woman that has gone through a miscarriage has her own story, feelings & demons. We should all respect it and never belittle this. I myself went through it, three times actually and I get belittled always. Which has helped me understand and show compassion for everyone that has walked a mile not in my shoes but in broken dreams, lost hope and shattered heart. Great amazing stories C.D Reiss!!!

That was a long 5 hours....

What did you like best about Coda? What did you like least?

Having enjoyed the earlier books in this series "Coda" was an automatic download. It was a huge disappointment. It was a seemingly endless stream of introspection and angst. I was left unmoved by the emotionally charged segments and disturbed by sex scenes that were not troubling in the previous books. I doubt I'll bother with any more books if the series continues.
