About this listen

How does a bad day get worse, you ask? Well...

How about being squished between two huge, naked dudes with their meaty schlongs hanging out and everything?

It's all a matter of opinion, but Carter's day is going pretty badly. He's an engineer captured by bug aliens, now depending on his large, muscled, naked cage mates for food and warmth. They seem sentient, so that's good. But they're also handsy. Which is...complicated.

The military isn't looking for him. Slaves taken by the bug race never come back. Yet, Carter is very much alive, and if he wants to stay that way, he'll need to trust Pykh and Siel, two affectionate aliens with claws, teeth, and size.

Contains mature themes.

The narration was great

Being unable to communicate with other alien beings is one my favorite tropes and it was done awesomely well here.

The two aliens seeing the human as a weak omega was hilarious.

The way the human interacted with them made me laugh out loud.

Joel Leslie killed the narration and made the story better.

Unexpected

This whole series is very good. The voice actor was also very good. I was very impressed and enjoyed listening to them all. I hope we will get the final book added at some point.

Fantastic!

OMG! I loved this book! The plot was fast paced and kept me listening to find out what happened next. The alien characters, Pykh and Siel, were described so well I could vividly picture them in my mind. Carter was a great character, fierce and determined to survive, even if it meant cuddling with his cellmates to survive. And ick, the bad guy aliens were so creepy. Joel Leslie did an incredible job with this book and these characters.

Don't let the description fool you this story is n

I am so glad that the 2nd book in this series is out in just a few more days. While it doesn't end with a cliff hanger it does end with a burning desire to know what happens next. The world building is creative and fascinating. The characters are unique and so loveable (in an anthropomorphic way). The pov is from all 3 MC's, each having a very different concept and understanding of the lives they are living. And of course, bringing different skill sets and interpretation to both the situation and their relationship. I absolutely loved it.

This book was narrated by John Leslie. As per usual, his talent and skill set take this story above and beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend listening to this story.

Wonderful Start to an Awesome Series!

I purchased the three Human Omega audiobooks (Human Omega: Discovered on a Slave Planet, Human Omega: Trapped in an Alien Jungle, and Human Omega: Babied By His Guardian Mates) on a lark as something enjoyable to listen while I was working out. Boy, was I surprised! They were much more enjoyable than I'd hoped. Glass not only created a compelling SciFi world, but she did so while conjuring up the most enchanting characters I'd read in ages. I couldn't stop listening to Joel Leslie read the books, even after my workouts ended. Simply put, Joel Leslie was FANTASTIC. He brought the books to life in what should be an award-winning production. Leslie made these stories everything you'd want from an audiobook. He took Eileen Glass' talented work and brought it to life, something only an extremely talented voice actor could do. I highly recommend listening to all three, and I, for one, cannot wait for Book Four in the Pykh series to be released. I hope its soon. I think you'll agree. On a side note...if I could offer any advice to Ms. Glass, it would be the naming of the books. While the names are technically accurate, I think she might capture a broader audience with more engaging titles. It's the tiniest of critiques for such an amazing series.

What in the what?!?

Can someone please tell me what the heck I just listened to? And why I loved it some much that it almost brought me to tears? How is this book so compelling?!?
There's really not a whole lot that happened in this book, and it definitely ends on a cliffhanger. but it was completely engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with our threesome, and hoping they'll all finally be able to communicate with each other!
Joel's narration was perfection! There were times when I was listening to him voice Pykh and Siel and forgot it was him, he sounded so different! I'd definitely recommend listening instead of reading, just to hear Joel brings those 2 to life!

Took a while to get used to narrator

I judged too quickly with this narrator. Aftet giving it some time, i am now obsessed with this narration.

The story was definitely the kind of story that i have yo listen to in one sitting because its so much more captivating then expected.

Stunning!!

This is my second time listening and I have to say … Joel Leslie is my absolute favorite!!

I freaking adore pike so damn much! He is what makes this story even more interesting and heartfelt- which I did not expect from an alien book.
