About this listen

In the wake of an attack that left her nearly dead, Ella Tipton has spent each day putting her life back together. She doesn't have any room for romance, but that doesn't mean she has to stop admiring the scenery.

Sexy security professional Andrew Copeland is no stranger to women, but he knows Ella is something different. Determined to get her to let him in, Andy does the one thing he can think of to get close: he offers her hands-on training in self-defense - and before long, all that skin on skin contact will have them both turning inside out.

Inside Out

Ella and Cope

I am soo glad Ella is a survivor. I say that because she isn’t your typical survivor, 4 years have gone by since her attack and she is a stronger character for it.

Now I would never want that to happen to a character just to make them stronger but in this case it’s just how it played out and I love that she doesn’t act like a victim she is up front about her fears and Cope is there to help.

Cope is kind of in the middle of family drama because Ben being his brother is involved with a male and a female that we met in Laid Bare and their father is having trouble being ok with it. Cope wants to make everything better and Ben is just done with it all.

I loved this LOVE STORY sooooo freaking hard. Ella’s story is strong and bold unique. I love that she has this small squeaky voice but this huge personality. I love that Cope sees her for whom and what she is. I love that they have tihs deep connection and can be open and honest.

I just loved this story.

Andy and Ella are Unexpected

I thought at first I wouldn't like this because it was Andy and Ella - but I couldn't have been more wrong. Ella's voice took some getting used to, but I know people that talk like that, so I don't know why. The story was sweet and different and again, Lauren Dane amps it up a notch.....Sweet Sexy and Charismatic - her stories have substance and Steam! I love the continuity in her stories! (There's room for even more, hint, hint). I am not understanding those who say the Chase books are better, if you want an easy sexy listen, try these, you won't be disappointed.

Just okay - needed more drama

In the 3rd book of the Brown family series "Inside Out", nothing really happens. Ella & Andrew Copeland get together and we see glimpses into Erin and Brody's lives - but no real excitement. Not nearly enough to keep my interest, although I liked the first 2 books and Lauren Dane is a talented writer. Lucy Rivers is very good EXCEPT when doing the male voices.

I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE IT BUT......

Who turned the heat down - there was simmering, bubbling but no boiling emotions. Maybe it was my fault for expecting too much but unlike the other 2 books in the series this fell flat for me, nothing much happened except Andrew decided it was time to settle down with Ella - a woman he's admired for years and everyone agreed including lucky Ella who has been dreaming of Andrew for years too.

It was a slow paced love story that went on and on - it had a few romantic, tender moments in it but it was mainly just lots of conversations about how suited they would be/are to each other, not so hot as previous books, and one hiccup along the way unfortunately makes a mediocre but not a great listen.

Worth a credit? If it was a stand alone listen then I'd be saying NO but as it's part of an ongoing series and you need to keep up with the rest of the happenings within the Brown family (which was more interesting) then it's a reluctant YES.

Well, I liked it!

If you are looking for the hot threesome action of book one, complete with submissive this and Dominant man that....you WILL be disappointed.

This is the story of Ella...Ella has worked for Erin Brown for years in her coffee shop, they are great friends and when Ella's abusive ex boyfriend nearly killed her 4 years ago Erin overcame her fear of violence and hospitals and she was there for Ella.

Ella is now trying to put her life back together....she knows her ex was a mistake, she knows she will never be the care free person she was....but she needs to stop living day to day just hoping to survive to the next, she has to start living!

Andrew Copeland, aka "Cope", has wanted Ella for 6 years...but first she was with the abusive jerk, then she was healing...is now the right time to try for her, to see if what he feels is real?

This book let us catch up with the rest of the Brown clan, and wasn't all about Ella and Cope, so it was nice to visit that world again. I will definitely get the next book, but if all you want are hot scenes then you should stop with this series because you will disappointed like other people on here who wrote their reviews. Was it an awesome plot? Well no, but it wasn't horrible and like I said we got to catch up with everyone else, so overall I liked it.

I loved the couple in this story. Andrew anb Ella were so cute together especially through their vulnerable moments. The narrator 's performance was really great! The author: Lauren Dane has a special way of making the reader feel for all of the characters in her books. This book especially touched my heart.👧👄💋💖

Ella and Cope

What a great book. Cope shows his vulnerability to Ella who has issues of her own. She was abused by her husband and still has triggers that make her afraid to be that person again. So many different scenes in this book, like Cope's Dad and Erin's pregnancy. I think this is my favorite of the series!!!

Well......

Ok, I loved the first book, the second book was allright, this one is just average for me. I really don't think I would of missed anything if I'd just passed this one by. I wasn't excited or put on edge. It didn't sweep me into that beautiful fictional place I love to go when I listen to my audio books. Frankly, I was bored and when I took a seat I practically fell asleep from boredom (even the sexual stuff is just ordinary). So in my honest opinion there's much better books to use your credit on.

Good Inside

I really love this series this book was not as good as the last one. Ella Tipton, manager of a small café owned by Erin from the previous Brown Sibling books, has been through hell and back. She was attacked and nearly killed by her ex and has spent the last several years rebuilding her life and getting back on her feet. She's a tough lady but still suffers from the fallout of the attack now and then. Although romance is not on the menu she has a crush on Andrew Copeland, longtime friend to the Brown family. He stops by the café often and aside from some light flirting their friendship is pretty casual. But that doesn't stop Ella from fantasizing now and then. Andrew Copeland has had his share of women. They've come and gone through the years but he's had a special attraction to Ella for a long time. But the time has just never been right to make a move. Ella has been through a lot of personal trauma and so he's kept his distance romantically, only offering friendship and support when he can. He's watched her grow and he knows she's something special. When he offers to teach her some self defense techniques Ella accepts. Spending time getting physical sends their mutual attraction into overdrive and bumps their relationship up to a whole new level. This book also gives us updates on Todd, Erin and Ben and their baby as well as what's going on with their families especially Ben's father. Cope has a reputation as being a ladies man but he is always quick to point out that he's not a jerk who treats women badly. Although he's never settled down and committed, he's still a decent guy and respectful of the women he's been with. But Ella moves something in him and he soon realizes he's ready to leave that lifestyle behind. With a lot of heart to heart with his buddies, Cope decides Ella is the one. I think that these two made a prefect couple they were always willing to help their friends and family. You also learn that there is so much more to these two with giving each other little notes and poems and drawings I thought that it was really sweet. This book was really well written (read) as I listened to it on audio. I love his series and am looking forward to listening to the next book in this series.
