About this listen

As Reapers Motorcycle Club president, Reese "Picnic" Hayes has given his entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he'd never love another woman. These days, Reese keeps his relationships free and easy - he definitely doesn't want to waste his time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong. Too bad he's completely obsessed with her.

Besides running her own business, London has her junkie cousin's daughter to look after. Sure she's attracted to the Reapers' president, but she's not stupid. When her young cousin gets caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who can help her. Now London has to make the hardest decision of her life - how far will she go to save her family? Contains mature themes.

Another Winner in the Series

The author has yet to let me down with this series. I was very excited to hear Pic's story and the story held up to my expectations. The epilog was awesome and I can't wait to see if my guess is right.

One of my favorite series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, because its a fun listen! It has emotion, drama, and raw edginess not found in my world.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Picnic because this book showed a different side to his "harsh" reality.

What does Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tatiana Sokolov is one of my favorite narrators and she brings a fresh approach to her characters unlike many of the other performers. I will always buy a book narrated by her.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not your typical happy ending!

Any additional comments?

I love this series and cannot wait or the next one. I hope it never ends!

I loved this book, right up until....

London became TSTL. Ms. Wylde tried to recover, but I think she took London too far down that path.

*SPOILERS*

There was no way Pic forgives her for pulling that trigger, esp so quickly.... no matter how much of a "bad@$$" she became. I know I haven't forgiven her... I NEEDED her to not pull the trigger and totally betray characters I've come to love. I needed him to not blow it off like it was nothing.

Narrators: Female, AMAZING, as always! Love her! Male, a little more of a mixed bag... loved his Reese so much that I kept rewinding, just to hear more of that yummy growl lol... but some of his other voices weren't my favorites, esp Horse and the female voices (often sounded stoned...)

Overall, worth the credit, and I love the series and this author. BTW... favorite character? Got to be (dead) Heather! ;o)

Great Book to listen to

This book was London wanting to save her cousin's daughter from herself. London had to do thing she did not want to that had to so she can save her cousin's daughter. Reese "Picnic" Hayes wanted London but he was not sure he could. Picnic and London was good together. Time to buy this book and it would be worth it.

Nice to have older H/h

I liked this chapter of the series. I was happy to see Picnic find a slice of happiness after losing his Wife to Cancer. Also, being a middle aged woman, myself, it was a nice fantasy that the Hero chose the woman with some milage over the twenty some bitches that still have their perfect looks. lol!
These narrators weren't too bad. However, the female narrator does a much better job with both gender voices than the male. I recently listened to two books in another MC series, in which, the female narrator did all of the female voices and the male did all the male voices. Why this isn't done more, is beyond me. It was awesome not only because the voices were more natural, it was also nice not to have to struggle with the specific characters' voice changes as the POV and narrator changed from chapter to chapter.
Oh well, what you want to know is if this book is worth the credit, right? The answer is yes. Buy it with a credit or on sale, though, because the cost to buy it is ridiculous for a 10 hour book.

An emotional roller coaster.

What does Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I One of the best in the business. Her men's voice is sexier than most men. She is terrific.

Any additional comments?

I cried multiple times. I laughed at Londons musings. One great read.

Pic and London

Another great story. Liked the characters, the drama, the action. I like how each book in the series is different. They don’t all follow the same pattern even though we always get the HEA.
