About this listen

Warning: This is not a typical, sappy love story. This is an all-consuming, soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It's intense, gritty and raw, dark and disturbing, and it doesn't happen overnight. This is an epic love story that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops - with hurt, sacrifice, and heartache - over the span of a lifetime.

Eva Fox is the princess of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club. Growing up with the bikers in the club, this is the only lifestyle she knows. When she's a young girl, Eva meets the reason for her existence. Deuce West is the sexy biker bad-ass of the Hell's Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Like Eva, he was born and raised in the club - but that's where the similarities end. Their first meeting is innocent, but as Eva matures into a woman, their chance reunions evolve into a fit of lust and love. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, but their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed that could tear them apart. Eva sees in Deuce what he cannot see in himself - a man worthy of love - and Eva spends her lifetime proving to him that her undeniable love is the one thing he can't live without.

This is Eva and Deuce's story.

Old Fashion Love, Biker Style

What made the experience of listening to Undeniable the most enjoyable?

the reader was good, I was surprised. I am fairly sure her name is an A.K.A. I generally do not like first person narrative, but this was done so very well. It leaves you wanting more. Just enough of first person narrative, but not over doing it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Undeniable?

when 5 yr old Eva first slips her hand into Duces's...this is just the start

Which scene was your favorite?

when they first meet over a candy machine

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

this is an old fashion love story, biker style. Other reviewers made this book sound rough and terrifying, this was anything but...Make no mistake, if you can not take rough language, I mean the F word 5 times in a sentence, then do not buy this book. I can tell you, I just tuned it out...and this was tender in its own fashion, biker style.

Any additional comments?

this story goes into the keeper locker so to speak. Other reviewers, Carolyn, cat w/ ear phones and Leesa, made mention of this book, and their talent for spot on reviews are still good.

This book was NUTS, but I loved it!

Get ready for one of the raunchiest, filthy-mouthed 'skeezy' biker love stories that's jammed packed with F-bombs, "female dog" references for the women, and a couple "C You Next Tuesdays" thrown in there--it was bananas!

In all honesty I had some trouble getting through this book, although I was riveted to every crass word, there were moments where I just couldn't believe where the story was taking me and how folks were talking to each other. So unbelievable were some of the things going on, and yet a really a great story was being told. This book is not for the faint of heart. It's a raw unfiltered birds-eye view into stereotypical bad boy AND seriously bad girl biker lifestyle. Its a wild ride from beginning to end. As soon as I recover from this one with a book that's a little sweeter, with a major HEA that makes my heart swoon, I'll get book 2!

In the end I had to give it 5 stars all around because its really a good story, with excellent narration, and will leave you stunned after every chapter.

My First Time

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes,but with guidance and warnings about the explicit adult nature, language and raw sexual content.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Undeniable?

Spoiler alert: When Eva realized how foolish it was of her to sacrifice herself to save crazy Frankie. Also, the scene when Frankie has Deuce chained to a radiator and reclaims Eva for himself.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

It did, but sometimes I couldn't differentiate between Eva's character and the narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I enjoyed stretching it out.

Any additional comments?

Who knew that MC was a genre? It apparently is and quite an entertaining one. Deuce & Eva's story was hella juicy, tumultuous, raw and torrid. The f-bombs and the C you next Tuesdays were flying all over the place. The attraction between these two was incredibly palpable. It's not what you would consider intellectual reading by any means, but surely qualifies as some hot summer steamy reading. They deserve each other, it just took them both half a lifetime to realize it.This was my introduction to MC books. I was into it and I'll be continuing to read more. Especially with M. Sheehan's series. I want to read Unbeloved next; the story of Dorothy, Jase & Hawk.

Intense and Enthralling But Not for All

If you could sum up Undeniable in three words, what would they be?

Intense, enthralling, repulsive.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I have listened to a few MC books now and this one is by far the best, as it is the most realistic and tackles hard topics such as rape and dysfunctional relationships. In saying this, however, the woman in me cringed every time a woman (the heroine, most often times) was referred to as a bitch. Even when expressing love ("I love you, bitch.") it made my hackles raise and shake my head in disgust. Deuce beat down a bunch of punks for disrespecting women, but he has no respect himself. Towards the end of the book I got a bit sick of the 2 steps forward, 5 steps back and come closer, go away BS that was going on. As much as Eva is portrayed as a strong woman (and it parts I was so damn proud of her), she ate a lot of sh*t from a man who should have been protecting and loving her.

Have you listened to any of Tatiana Sokolov’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to another of Tatiana's performances and I have to say she is quite good. She sometimes sounds a bit whiny and ditzy when portraying women, but she is very good at narrating for the men.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I found it hard to stop listening to.

Any additional comments?

This was a really enjoyable book and I will listen to another of Madeline's books.I don't want to be "that person" but, with every MC "romance" I have read, the deep rooted disrespect for women, really, really pisses me off. The role women have to play to be part of the club - be sexually aggressive and open to please your man, change who you are for your man, cook and clean for your man, keep your mouth shut if your man cheats on you and don't ever, ever open your mouth and speak up if you don't like something. I don't get why women dig this type of romance so much where the woman pretty much gets used up, disrespected and dismissed if she does not accept this sh*tty treatment. JR Ward knows how to make her men sexy, tough and complex but they treat their women like Goddesses and that is real romance!

A romance by any other name

This was awesome. It was raw and rough and crude and, damn me, undeniable.

I sooo wanted things to settle down for Deuce and Eva but I don't think that'd possible really. They have their HEA as much as they possibly can.

They're messed up, both of them, but as weird as it sounds, this book made me see love in a different light. I'm glad I spent the day listening, let's put it that way!

WOW! I am still reeling from this story!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would definitely recommend this book, with a caveat attached. As warned in the book description and by other reviewers, this is not a warm sappy love story. Duece and Eva's story is gritty, cruel and ugly at times. Thier story is also so emotionally moving at times that I'm am still reeling from the impact of their story. I find myself listening over and over again to the final chapters of the book. I have gone to the Madeline Sheehan website and watched the three trailers over and over. I just can't let this book go!

What other book might you compare Undeniable to and why?

I don't think there is a book that is comparable. I have read a couple of MC books on my Kindle, but none have had the impact of this story.

Which scene was your favorite?

It is difficult to narrow down a favorite scene. I loved the early encounters (when Eva was still a child) and Duece's reaction to her. It was obvious, even then that there was a very special chemistry and connection that was only going to grow.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I did more crying than laughing, although there were a few interactions between Duece and Eva where I found myself chuckling. I sobbed during the final part of the epilogue!

Any additional comments?

This book is definitely worth a listening credit. I highly recommend! Now I'm anxiously awaiting the audible Unbeautifully. I so want to continue with this story that I'm tempted to go ahead and download to my Kindle and get my fix there and then listen to the story again on my iPOD.

Hard Epic Listen

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, but not to the faint of heart. Meaty tale that is somewhat realistic in it's harsh reality.

What does Tatiana Sokolov bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Love her as a narrator, she's great at inserting emotion. Good male voices as well.
