About this listen

Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

Second book, better than the first

What did you love best about Reflected in You?

The story is a stronger than the first book. Twisted ending that intrigues me on how they move forward with this behind them.

What other book might you compare Reflected in You to and why?

50 Shades of grey but on a whole different level. These books have a stronger story and raunchier sex than 50 shades. Both good books in their own ways.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I pretty much did.

Any additional comments?

Reflected in you: A crossfire novel book 2 by Sylvia Day
The second book is better than the first. It is full of unexpected twist and turns keeping it intriguing. Stronger story, tons of raunchy sex, and entices you to read the third book. Although, I still find Cross creepy and Eva naïve the read is still a good one. Ready for the third book.

She did it again...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This series puts a wonderful spin on dysfunctional relationships, I was able to laugh at the various similarities I have with the female lead and reflect on some more serious issue within my own life.

Any additional comments?

I loved this book from cover to cover, it's well worth the credit (but why waste a credit on book less than 10 bucks)

Darker and even more dangerous in the best way!

Excellent follow up to Bared to You and very credit worthy. I love this couple, and have been completely drawn into their possessive love for each other. Gideon is scrumdeliumptious!..(my fake word that means EXTRA YUMMY!). Great narration and the sex scenes will melt your eardrums for sure. Get it, you'll love it.

I would Kill for you! I would Die for you!...

**Stop reading, if you have listened to Book 1 then....just skip to the last statement***

I was a bit frustrated by this book... but i think that was the idea! Even so, I loved every minute of it...

Picking up from Book 1, Gideon and Eva still try to navigate the rough road of their relationship. Gideon and his constant need to control Eva didn't sit well with me... I loved the Vegas moment when Gideon put a female bodyguard on Eva and kept every known man from her and as her revenge she has a sumo bodyguard hired for Gideon and his job was to keep EVERY woman 3 feet away from Gideon while he was WORKING ....

Once again putting 2 messed up people together is sometimes not a good idea... as was evident when during one mutual happening episode, Gideon almost hurts Eva while they are sleeping!

I am looking forward to the love triangle between Evan, Gideon and Bret to get juicy...Bret is not going away! Good things to look forward to in book 3.

Once again Cary has me wondering what his story is and why he is determined to destroy his perfect relationship with Trey!

I always thought if a man stated he would kill for me... it would be the sexiest thing with tons of fuzzy feelings.. and my oh my Gideon's words are crude, deep, hot and all things male I can imagine...But the ending had me thinking 'he did what?....like NOOOO...like seriously...and she said what? Run Eva... just RUN!'

At the end we close with Gideon and Eva having learnt to trust each other and Gideon admiting that he loves Eva after sharing a huge part of his past... Now what? looking forward to Book 3...Dealing with the aftermath of what Gideon did... Gideon's ex and her meddling... his family... the Damn doctor....and Bret!

Yes, Yes, YES!! Worth a credit, but I bought this for $10..Either way just buy the book!

took a while.

I was a bit skeptical about the first book and listened anyway but the follow up was great. I felt all the emotions and the performance really sold it. I'm glad to learn a bit more about the characters and I do feel satisfied about the ending.
