About this listen

I'm the heir of Zahariss.

My secret is no more, and the people know an heir walks amongst them, but so does another.

With broken vows and being hunted, I find myself in the most unlikely place of allies that will help me to right the wrong.

As we make plans to spill the Highers' blood across the land, he finds me. Darius, heir of Cazier.

After thinking we had some sort of connection, a truce, my enemy betrayed me.

He says he won't let me go, but he won't acknowledge what he has done to me.

With hatred burning bright, can we move on? Or will my wounds stay forever bleeding?

While uncovering more of the Highers' traitorous actions, and learning just how far they will go to gain their wishes...

The dark is rising, and we have to stop it. I just have to work with the enemy to find out how.

This is the second book in The Hidden of Vrohkaria series and ends on a cliffhanger. This is a first-person, MF, enemies-to-lovers, dark fantasy romance for mature listeners.

The fmc continues to make selfish decisions that puts others at risk or hurt. While it occasionally continues the storyline, her stupidity is frustrating and caused me to speed listen often. Nearly 2 full books before we meet her wolf, makes her seem narcissistic. Like she's the only one who knows what's right. 🙄Disappointing.

The premise with supernaturals and monsters behaving human, power struggles, intrigue, deception.

I’m dying. Book 3 is not on audio and I really don’t know if my eyeballs can handle it in kindle. Well, this series snuck up on me. I am absolutely in love.

Omfg the cliffhanger?!?!?!

I found this to be a satisfying sequel to the first book. I liked the way things played out with Darius and Rhea personally. And I absolutely bawled when she finally revealed her secrets.

I love dark romantasy books

I am OBSESSED!!! I was pissed at Darius not gonna lie but he’s gotten back into my heart and I’m so happy he opened up more this book. I can’t wait for the third audible so I bought the physical book hahah

The 1st book was so promising! There was a definite plot and action and a creative magic system. Also, there was romance but it wasn't the whole plot. For book #2, it was. I'm all for some gratuitous sex scenes as long as there is a purpose and they further the plot or character development. This was excessive and I actually skipped quite a bit.

The overly dramatic internal monologuing drove me nuts and is a pet peeve of mine. Also, the romantic scenes were SO cheesy!!! Excessively sweet and unrealistic. Also, what's up with her inability to set a boundary and then enforce it?! I know they're wolves and maybe possessive, but how are we ok with our FMCs just shrugging off Chauvinistic/ misogynistic behaviors because sex? Does the MMC get a pass just because he's "an alpha"?? 🙄

The story itself i feel like has gotten lost, its very heavy spice scenes which fine I like , but I also need a good plot and somewhere from book one into 2 the plot took a back seat to all the brooding rhea and forceful Dar . like I needed more moving parts to explain certain things. not just "omg we found something in daddys basement, now let's f**k my feelings away" . it almost felt like the last chapter was just an "oh yeah we need to loop in this to explain that super fast " also had issue with how twilight ish rhea was being , like woe is me Bella swan . girl get up you have a whole ass pack to find and hopefully rescue. but nooo she wants to shut down and not deal . will I read the next book sure , but I need a break from this series for now.

Ehh just ehh
