About this listen

Fourth Wing meets The Serpent and the Wings of Night in this dark, alluring fantasy romance filled with tension, combat, magic, fae, fallen angels, vampyres, and two stubborn rivals.

A wolf and his huntress. An academy designed to break them.

Huntyr has fought for survival her entire life. Raised under Lord, the master of assassins in Midgrave, she has spent over twenty years learning to kill the blood-hungry, depraved vampyres that lurk in the darkness. Huntyr is the most lethal fae in the kingdom, which is why Lord chooses her to complete the next mission.

Huntyr must survive Moira Seminary and make it into the Golden City—the mysterious elite society of the few remaining angels and the magic fae who live in luxury with no crime, no poverty, and certainly no vampyres.

Only when she arrives at the academy, she's forced to room with Wolf—the terrifying fallen angel who happens to know her assassin identity.

Determined to keep her head down in Moira, Huntyr tries her best to ignore Wolf. Over time, though, he not only becomes the only person she can lean on but also the one who might keep her alive through the life-threatening tests to get into the Golden City.

Huntyr will do anything to please the assassin master, but Wolf begins to test her in ways she never imagined. Is she strong enough to stick to the mission? Or will new truths—and alliances—put everything at risk?

Wings So Wicked is a new adult fantasy romance with fae, vampyres, fallen angels, magical trials, fierce main characters, dark themes, forced proximity, "who did this to you" moments, possessive males, rivals to lovers, elite societies, hidden identities, and so much more. Listeners who love academy settings, main characters riddled with darkness, angst, and slow-burn romances will devour this story!

Really enjoyed this audio book and story. Wished I could have gotten the second book on Audible but this was a really good way to get started on the duology.

Really Enjoyed!

I absolutely devoured Wings So Wicked. It was one of those books/audios that I couldn't put down. The world-building was incredible, and the characters were so well-developed. I found myself completely invested in Huntyr and Wolf's journey. The ending had me feeling a whole range of emotions. It was bittersweet, hopeful, and just plain beautiful. I know I will still be thinking about it days later. If you're a fan of fantasy with a side of romance, this book is a must-read. It gave me reminders from Fourth Wing and Throne of Glass and it will be a book I recommend to everyone I know.

I loved this audiobook. Last chapter the voice actor changes and I hated it. It was so bad.

The ending made me wanna THROW it across the room and DNF the second book before ever even touching it out of spite. So you know it was good.

All the breathy, heart wrenching, witty, peak entertainment you could ask for balled up into this one folks. I will be back for more. Whether or not I regret that decision remains to be seen.

The storyline was fantastic, but if you’re gonna have a bad ass FMC, can she stop being so whiny and yelling at the MMC throughout the entire book?

I love the story but the FMC way too whiny

Female assassin and a fallen angel! What a pair. I loved the trials and academy vibes. I really enjoyed the banter between the characters. The sexual frustration had me laughing. I also had a mini heart attack there at the end.

The betryal killed me

Was it the best writing? No, but it was interesting and enjoyable. You can predict someeeee BUT I LOVED IT. I absolutely devoured this series in 2 days. The tension and banter…. YES PLEASE. Not too much spice but had a little more in the next book, didn’t really need it because the fast world building book keeps you interested. The ending will make you wide eyed and make your jaw drop. I HATE DOING THAT TO MYSELF BUT LOVE IT TOO NEED THE THIRD BOOK NOW!

I’m usually not very picky about writing and such but something about the dialogue in this book seems off. The whole story is just random pieces of other books put together and feels rushed. Also she’s supposedly such a strong FMC but she’s constantly weak and needing to lean on others the entire book. It just doesn’t make sense.

Great potential
