Publisher's summary

Simple Things, book 13:

Sean's found himself trapped in the realm of the demons, and he's also found a mystery there as well - a lioness. How and why she's there, and if she'll help him, he doesn't know yet. But if anyone knows the lay of the land, the demons, and how to get out of there, he figures it would have to be her.

Back home, Adam is doing his best to fit in and not make too many mistakes. At least he heals fast, so no one notices the bruised shins from being kicked by Roxy all the time. The war, however, is already starting to heat up, even without the main gateway being open. Apparently, Sean's actions are having an effect, and not necessarily a good one.

But people are pulling together, and everyone is starting to discover just how high the stakes really are.

Trying Times, book 14:

As if Sean doesn't have enough problems, it seems that the crazies have finally decided to take him on. Whether it's fanatics who think he's the devil incarnate, or just people looking for any excuse to spread carnage, they've decided that Sean and the lycans present a problem that needs to be eliminated. Then there's that leak in Washington, apparently they didn't remove all of the demonic influences from D.C. like they thought they had.

But even with this added complication to the war, Sean's still very happy to be home once again and back in the arms of his loving wives and family. Estrella's also happy to be back on the side of the gateway on which she belongs, not to mention having finally found a husband and a family. Though things may have changed just a little bit since she left.

WARNING: The Valens Legacy: Publisher's Pack 7 contains explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, polyamory, mayhem, blitzkriegs, some poor people who deserved better, and a nod to an old singing duo who were quite talented.

I highly recommend the series

I greatly enjoyed the story so far I'm sad to see that I'm closing in on the ending of it. so quite a few books left and there are the stories for the wives I believe for volumes total in addition to what available for the series.

Another brilliant addition.

In the scope of modern day epics this series is a diamond in the rough. None of the books disappoint, and this one is no exception. Always leaving the reader in anticipation of the next installment, partly due to the superb narration. Don't hesitate. Get it today.

I Dig It!

Love this series, and the narrator is better than allot of other books I've listened to. I dig releasing the book with two distinct parts (books).

The War continues

I mean, if you’ve made it this far into the series, you know pretty much this series goes. The war with the demons is amping up and Sean has found himself a seventh wife. If you like the books before this one, I don’t see any reason why you wouldn’t enjoy this audiobook as well.

So here is the perfect example of a 4 star series

Well, I am now starting the 7th book of an adult series where I am no longer interested in the adult content. This series is really just remarkably good at being average, and that is okay. Reading it has helped me understand why Supernatural has been on for 15 seasons and reminded me of why I enjoy super hero movies sell so well. Sometimes, you just want to see the good guys win and advance their lives to the next challenge, and this series is good at providing new hurdles for its protagonist and has some interesting characters.

Nothing is ever really deep here, and I never feel like any main or sub character is going to die, but I enjoy the ride anyway. It is an enjoyable well narrated and interesting popcorn piece of literature that always ends in the middle of the story, and that is okay. They have kept me buying the next book and are good solid urban fantasy, kudos.
