About this listen

Tick, tick, tock.

Time. That's all I have now. A small room, a photograph, and time. They want me to trust them and confess my sins. They told me they wouldn't judge me - they lied.

I thought we could convince the world that this wasn't a crime. We were wrong.

Time doesn't stand still. The clock keeps ticking, the world is unconvinced, and now… Now he is gone.

A little hard to fallow

I have to give credit where credit is due it's a good story but the going back and forth from past to present it's a little confusing. And like time and time I've ask is it so hard to wright a dang epilogue one year later 5 years later something did they get married did they have kids anyting. narrators did a great job nice clear voices easy to understand I would give it five stars if the epilogue was there.

Enlightening point of view

Where does Veiled Innocence rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book has been a very big eye opener. I truly believe in love and I know it comes in all forms. As many people and myself have said timing is EVERYTHING in this case is really is.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Veiled Innocence?

Realizing how many people really listen to Addison.

What does Chelsea Hatfield and J.F. Harding bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrators were great in this book, they both nailed it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, if I could have listened to it all in one day I definitely would have. Ella made you feel like you just wanted more, and there really isn't a right spot to stop unless your family needs you! And only then. I can see where there could be another book launched from this book but we will just have to wait and see.

Unexpectedly good

Would you consider the audio edition of Veiled Innocence to be better than the print version?

N/A

What did you like best about this story?

the second half is consuming.

What does Chelsea Hatfield and J.F. Harding bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Free hands

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

She's sitting on the ground leaning on his trucks tire.... Near the end.

Any additional comments?

The beginning was traditional and boring. Half way through the author found her muse or voice or whatever it is that made it well written.

Sexy romance suspense thriller

This story was one of a kind. I was happily surprised by the suspense thriller twist of this sexy romance. Dying to know how A got to W from the beginning. Well done, Ella Frank. Well done, narrators.

Student - teacher angst

Spoiled high school senior student always gets what she wants, and she wants her hunky teacher. It was drama-filled, and sexual. It narrates in dual POV from past events to present, explaining how they end up. I didn't think I would like it but I did. I was pleasantly surprised by the fictional ending. If you can not handle reading about teacher-student forbidden relationships, this will not be for you. I took a chance on my credit, and I'm okay with it.

Unexpected!

Very enjoyable story that gets better the further in you read. The blurb has to be one of the most vague I've ever read. No where does it give you any indication that this is an age gap teacher-student story. It sounds more like a time travel story, but anyway...

I loved the story and thought it had some really unique elements to it. Would definitely recommend!

OMG

I won't say love can't happen like this. At the beginning of this story I wanted to whip her behind cause while it's true that teen girls get randy , she was on a whole other level. That being the case I saw her as selfish and very self centered. While that's not unusual for teens they do know right and wrong and what consequences can happen in certain circumstances. This girl gave no care to what could happen to this man's life she just wanted what she wanted, until it hit the fan. He should have at the very least busted her bubble in a real way , then told her to see him after she walk across the stage, she was 18. Did she really think that boy was gonna take it well getting ignored after screwing his brains out, then she lied instead of just saying she was done and it wasn't any of his business who she was messing with .
After they started screwing that was all she wrote. When he recognized she was damaged he should have stopped what was going on to try to help her or get help for her.
Her story is sad about her brother and it was not her fault . Her parents were a terrible disappointment at the minimum and the father was a criminal for what he did to her. The track coach I wanted to slap cause it was more than teacher concern for her turning their careless stupidity in but she was pissed/jealous. Why would you call a child's parent about a situation against the child when you know there is abuse in the home? The child was sporting a bruise on her face.
Doc is the hero. He was the one who knew the whole situation give or take some details but he protected her and listened to her and looked out for them. She would not have survived in that home environment.
I didn't like all the going back and forward. The narrator did a good job.

too much porn

If you like explicit sexual details, this is the book for you. The struggle, as an adult mother and grandmother, is the story line. However, I continued to listen and the ending was definitely a fairy tale. Both readers were excellent!
