Story
I’d always dreamed of my wedding day. But not like this. Not looking into the eyes of the man who betrayed me. But when my nephew’s guardianship is contested, I decide I’ll do whatever it takes to keep him in Rose Hill. Even if it means marrying the enemy. Rhys Dupris. A man who is secretive, broody, and completely infuriating. A man whose work takes him away for weeks on end and brings him back covered in mysterious bruises—ones he won’t talk about. In fact, we barely talk at all.

Elsie Silver never fails and this one might be a top favorite! It was absolutely perfect. I won’t spoil it but after hearing what Rhys’ profession was, I wasn’t too sure about it…and then I completely fell in love with the story around it. I laughed. I cried. I swooned and melted.
The narration was so so good! Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor are like peanut butter & jelly. Two of the best. And Samantha’s male voice…lordy 🥵 I could listen to that all day!

Ok that was a fun holiday mystery-whodunnit! It’s a twisty, murder mystery that reminded me so much of the movie “Clue!” And it kept me guessing until the end.
The narration was 10/10!

Why Choose Beauty & the Beast Retelling
Reviewed: 11-21-24
I’ve listened to this twice now and it’s just as good the second time. I love a good retelling but enjoy seeing how the authors can use the original story and make it their own. This is one of my favorite Beauty and the Beast retellings and I can’t wait to see how they finish this series!
The narrators did an amazing job as well!

Story
Living in a year around Christmas town has its drawbacks. The caroling, the decorations, the insanely cheery spirit, it never disappears. It's why I like to hibernate away in my cave - I mean housekeeping a healthy distance from the holly jolly spirits. And all was going according to plan until my nemesis, Storee Taylor, moved in next door to care for her Aunt Cindy. Without blinking, she turned my simple world into a real nightmare-before-Christmas, especially when she decided to enter the town Christmas Kringle contest - which she was determined to win.

He did WHAT with the candy cane 😲🤭
Meghan outdid herself with this book. It was absolutely perfect! I was constantly giggling and laughing at the banter and the shenanigans between our MCs & supporting cast. The romance didn’t feel forced and really felt like we were watching these two fall in love 🥹
I think my favorite parts had to be the “narrator” at the beginning of chapters…Meghan, your brain is wonderfully hilarious and deserves a round of applause!
I loved the nod to the classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas but she also made the story feel fresh.
I will definitely be listening to this book every holiday season!

Story
I met West Haven when I was eight years old. He taught me to play poker when I was nine, and we made paper airplanes together when I was eleven. He kissed me when I was sixteen. He was the best part about my family’s summer vacations to Montana. He was the boy who stole my heart. I was twenty-three when life ripped us apart. Years later, I’m breaking my vow and returning to the ranch, not as a guest but its new owner. West might want me gone, but even he has to admit the only way to save his family’s legacy is with my help.
