I was HOOKED

I listened to the over the course of a few days and usually it takes me weeks of listening while driving/running errands etc. But as soon as I started it, I didn’t want to stop! It’s written (and read) in a way that keeps you asking for more and I hope there’s more to come!

Amazing!!

This is the third book in the Artifact of Ouranos Series. Reading this as an audiobook was an amazing way to experience this novel. From the very start the actors were mesmerizing and as we continue to read along it gets even better. The Cliff hanger at the end of this book left me speechless, confused and shocked all at once. I loved the different POVs but I wasn’t too sure about the side characters from the past. I didn’t get the whole story until the end and then everything clicked. I adore Lor and Nadir in this book, the angst continues as they try to figure out what they are to each other. I enjoyed reading about the different places in Ouranos, it was refreshing to explore new places. I have so much fondness for the side characters of this book especially Gabriel. Big shout out to the narrator Shane East he delivered! I could picture every emotion that was on the page it made it that more exciting. In the end I felt like the book had all the elements of a great series and it left us gasping for more. I don’t want it to end but I need that fourth book.

The way my heart broke

This third book was the best of the series so far. I’m was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I still need to know what really happened with Nadir.

Wholly enjoyable

I’m here for it all, the plot, the characters and their stupid but adorable banter, the magic, the spice. The narrators do a great job on this one, and I can’t believe I ended up liking this series as much as I did.

Fun third installment

Did I love it? Yes. Absolutely! Was the story fun and different and exciting and spicy? Yes to all. Am I super frustrated at the cliff hanger? You bet your bottom dollar YES! I had no idea this was going to be more than a trilogy (my own bad research) so I was not expecting the end. But I can’t wait for book 4!

Easy to read plot and good story

I find the main character to be a bit whiney, and complaining a lot throughout this book compared to the previous 2. Still a good story, but a bit drawn out to basically give me a predictable ending.

Narration, spicy scenes, and worldbuilding

Single handedly one of the best fantasy romance series out there!! My favorite of the series so far!

Oh wow!!!

Love the story and narration. I like seeing a healing strong lead and not some simpering helpless person.

The narrators are awful, especially the female

I read the first 2 books and absolutely loved them but couldn’t get the 3rd except through audible. Had I started this series on audiobook, I never would have made it. I love the characters and the story but the female narrator made it almost unbearable. Lor started out like a badass and this woman literally made her out to be a whiny and annoying character. The 2 male narrators painted Nadir and Gabriel into a weird subdued monotone apathetic and a random British accented tortured soul. Neither were good, but Nadir is supposed to be emotional and intense but came across in the audio as numb and tired sounding.

I’m going to power through the last book but what a complete downer.
