Story
Sea Isle was supposed to be the fresh start Dr. Emilia McRoy dreamed of. Far from the busy emergency room across the Atlantic in Seattle, she hoped to settle down and begin this new chapter as a small-town doctor to the quirky residents who immediately welcomed her. When she stumbles across a dead body, she starts to think that she may not be as Scot free of the drama and intrigue as she initially thought.

Why are 35 - 40 year old women acting like a bunch of 12-14 year olds?
Reviewed: 01-22-25
Very juvenile except it was not presented as for 12 year olds. Very easy to figure out who the bad guy was. Should have been titled ‘Dr Nancy Drew’

I’ve enjoyed listening to this series. Although someone has been murdered, the puns keep it from getting to heavy.

Interesting story. The female police inspector’s experience was very spot on for the time. The extreme prejudice of the wealthy men against their own wife’s seemed out of the dark ages

But then you’ve probably never heard of The McMasters Conservatory, dedicated to the consummate execution of the homicidal arts. To gain admission, a student must have an ethical reason for erasing someone who deeply deserves a fate no worse (nor better) than death. The campus of this “Poison Ivy League” college—its location unknown to even those who study there—is where you might find yourself the practice target of a classmate.

Becky needs to give it up
Reviewed: 04-14-24
The story is good but like another reviewer I’m sick of Becky and her games. This is not a ‘love’ triangle. It is a very manipulative woman that only uses her power to pull men’s strings. His sister is just as bad making excuses for her husband’s actions. M D - where are the strong women in your stories. Are all Scottish women like this - unable to stand up and be strong characters?
