As a newly promoted Operations Director with a huge hit list of issues, and fires that need to be extinguished, this book confirmed I need to continue to empower the team to charge forward and fix what they see needs fixing. After listening to this book and hearing the energy and happiness that Paul has, I want nothing more than our team to enjoy coming to work and loving what the do and having fun doing it!

Successful business are built with vision and passion. Paul has given business owners a gift. It is up to us to take the ball and run. His ideas are simple and easy to implement. But you have to commit yourself and build a company wide culture for success. Are you willing. As for myself I am going to give it my all.

Brilliant simple ideas for success

The third edition extra sections isn't anything new, just an update on Paul's company. For a book about lean, it's kinda ironic that it has this extra fat tacked on, especially after a very informative second edition.

Fun, easy, and short book

Giving the book 5-stars was the easy part. Implementing the ideas and developing a culture such as the one at Fastcap requires a little more work on the reader's part.

Paul Akers is a fascinating, inspiring "regular guy". Take what you will from this, but miss out on the lessons at your peril.

The delivery is excellent too, with Mr. Akers' passion coming through in spades throughout.

I can't recommend this book highly enough.

Read it. Listen to it. Implement. REPEAT.
