About this listen

Book six of the Quint Adler Series

Archer Keats, a prominent businessman, is arrested for the brutal murder of his wife.

His legal defense team approaches Quint about joining them as an investigator.

Grudgingly, Quint accepts, but quickly realizes this isn't a simple case of "did he or didn't he?"

There's a lot more going on and a whirlwind of suspects begin to emerge.

A Knife Through The Heart is a whodunit that will leave you guessing until the final minute!

A Knife Through the Heart is the 6th book in the Quint Adler standalone series. I would suggest listening to book one for background on the protagonist but it’s not a necessity. Each book can stand on its own merits.
This is a really good procedural. Quint is a private investigator so he does have a little more leeway as far as his investigative techniques go. In this book a woman is murdered. Of course the husband is the prime suspect and all evidence points to him. Quint believes him when he says he’s not guilty. It’s not looking too good but it wouldn’t be much of a mystery without a few red herrings thrown in here and there. I figured it out before the end though and it was during the last 10 minutes that my suspicion was confirmed.
Liam DiCosimo does a fantastic job narrating this and all of the books in this series.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
