DaddiLife Books
Learn from a whole community of dads and hypnobirthing experts on how you can embrace the hypnobirthing journey with your partner--as one team throughout.
Birthing conventions have a limited view of dads at birth, and far from being an anxious bystander, dads can be so much more for their partners, babies, and themselves! In this book by DaddiLife Books, the dad writers behind the leading platform for dads have worked with natural birth and hypnobirthing experts to create a unique and in-depth guide for dads as positive birth partners.
What you'll learn in this book:
The science of birth: Gain clarity and confidence on what drives your partner's oxytocin--the "love hormone" that underpins natural birth.
Hypnobirthing techniques: A unique toolkit for dads--from breathing techniques with your partner through to hypnobirthing affirmations, relaxation scripts, anchors, and more that empowers dads.
Birth planning: How to work with your partner to choose the right location for birth--whether that's a hospital, a birthing center, or home birth, and making a birth plan that both partners can action.
Being a true advocate: Making your partner feel safe, calm, and in control during birth, even in challenging circumstances. Understanding your rights when it comes to medication or when things don't go to plan.
This is the hypnobirthing book for dads, underpinned by 20 interviews with dads who have experienced hypnobirthing and offer a breadth of unique learnings to help dads become the best hypnobirthing partner they can be.

Although I have never brought children into this world myself, I have quite a few friends that have. I've had one friend that was so scared, stressed, and hyperventilating during labor that she passed out and only woke up hours later AFTER her son was born. She lost crucial time with her so, which was very important to her. I'd like to think that had she and her partner had this book; it would've made a world of difference. She is expecting her second born soon, so that I will refer this audiobook to her.
With that being said, I learned that this technique helps you to connect with your body and breathe rather than just push the baby out. I've never thought of labor as a team project- I've always thought that birthing was about the expecting mother and her baby. This audiobook changed my perspective in a major way.
My favorite part about this audiobook is that it covers the history of birthing and how much has changed since the old days.
The techniques and affirmations covered in this audiobook are clear and easy to follow. My partner and I will refer to this handy guide when the time comes!
If you or someone you know is expecting a baby, gift this book to the father! It is an exceptional guide to Hypnobirthing and contains more than enough knowledge to birth 1,000 children.
