Very good herbs to have
This book was thoughtful. I appreciate the straightforward ability of the author to pass along so much great info. I already use some of these, highly recommended, and I’ve added a couple more to my cabinet from this book. Two things that I’d like to see updated in here is an added pdf and the chapters being labeled. Those would help me quickly reference the material when I needed. Great book though.

Interesting and Informative
This book took me back in time when I was a kid. My mom and grandma would treat me with medicinal plants and herbs that we can get from our backyard or from our neighbor's. Surprisingly, I've learned a lot more about what the herbs we use now can be medications for! One thing I've recommended for my wife to try is the peppermint oil for her chronic migraine! I've learned a lot about how to store them to make them last. This book is very helpful. Medicinal plants and herbs do not have damaging side effects compared to pills. Highly recommended!

Informative
ABC`s of Herbal Medicine: As a listener is extremely informative. I remember as a young child, I and my sibling were given herbal medicine when we were sick, or having fever, malaria, stomachache even toothaches. We were treated with native medicines and we improved each time. So, these natural ingredients can be very effective. In fact, we still use them today just that they are refined. Listening to this audiobook what I appreciated was that the author encourages the need to seek for an expert in the field of herbal medicine, as we know that these herbal medicine are made with no accurate dosage and some have not been studied to counteract its side effects. So, it can be harmful. Seemly popping a bunch of pills can be harmful as well. So in everything we do, we do in moderation. Good read!

Natural Healing for the Body
This audiobook has all the natural herbs that are beneficial to our bodies. Herbs are my go-to remedies for common colds, among others. I also agree with the author as it relates to the history of herbs and how many of the conventional medicines are derived from plant properties. Yes! Conventional medicine is needed, but I believe herbs can also provide healing properties to our bodies and overall health.
