FANTASTIC story! 👏

Wow.... I wasn't expecting this story to end the way it did. I immediately found myself pulled into the beginning and was entertained all the way through. The author has a talent to keep the reader invested in the story and become addicted to the characters, especially little Abigail. I could imagine how each character looked with all the great descriptions.
The narrator was also brilliant 👏 He brought each character alive with a crisp and delightful voice, especially Abigail's little giggles.
I was intrigued by the author's ability to take the storyline from just normal life with how people constantly discriminate to a sci-fi fantasy. Without giving the story away, I'll just say this is a must-read! I will definitely look into more of the author's works. I'm a new fan!

Twisty entertainment

This is one of those stories you will enjoy most going in blind.
Manx shows us with a heartwarming touch about the how love and insecurity can both destroy and blossomly grow.

In the end there was in my opinion a bit much tell instead of show, but not to a degree it destroyed the en enjoyment of the story, and therefore not worth explaining in details as it would necessarily be with damaging spoilers for new readers/listeners

Don't judge s book by it's cover fits on several levels here, and that's all I'm going to give away from the plot ;)

Abigail: A Twilight Zone-Worthy Story

Daemon Manx's "Abigail," brought to life by Ryan Haugen’s gripping narration, is a story that deeply resonated with me. Adrian Billard, the protagonist, feels disillusioned and lost until an unexpected package—a baby named Abigail—arrives on his doorstep.

While the story is brief, it touches on many significant themes. Adrian's journey reflects our own struggles with self-identity and the search for meaning. His transformation, sparked by Abigail’s unexpected arrival, challenges his preconceived notions about what he needs and who he is.

Haugen’s narration enhances the eerie and thought-provoking atmosphere of the story. The ending, which caught me completely off guard, is one of the story’s standout elements. "Abigail" feels like a Twilight Zone episode that prompts introspection, making you question and reflect on your own life and desires. Despite its length, it delivers a powerful and memorable experience, blending suspense with profound emotional insight.

WOW!

I loved all of it! It was a story line I've never heard before and I really liked the authors writing! It has such a great twist I never expected. I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know who Abigail was! I fell in love with the characters right away! I also really enjoyed the narration it was very easy to listen to.

Abigail

I loved this story so much! I normally don't go for the wholesome, family type of stories, but Abigail is both dark, unusual, and loving.
