Publisher's summary

After Magistrate Amerut’s attempt to kill him, Sean knew he still had troubles ahead of him. He knew that removing those who still stood against him would be difficult, but with his friends and family by his side, he started making plans.

Sean knew better than to simply rush off and commit murder. He worked to protect those dear to him, using his Talents and knowledge to bend the rules of the world he found himself in—sometimes near the breaking point—to craft new marvels.

New doors opened when he healed the sister of Knight Toivo Bloodheart, setting more events into motion. Dame Hallie Bloodheart, for her part, proposed a plan to shield Sean from Lord Sharpeyes’s retaliation. She would marry him, which would raise Sean to the station of Knight.

Sean accepted the proposal with his wives’ approval, but first, he married Helga, his Chooser. The former Valkyrie was torn over how she should feel about Sean and treat him, but she loved him and was happy to fully join their family.

With two new wives and his intentions set, Sean went to Lord Sharpeyes’ party. Though his plan to force the Lord into a duel was thwarted, so too was Lord Sharpeye’s plan to murder all of his enemies. The battle left many nobles dead and Lady Sharpeyes indebted to Sean.

Once all of his troubles in Hearthglen had been dealt with, Sean was ready to move on. While the massive city of Accord was certain to present its own problems, Sean felt confident that he could face them with the backing of his family and friends.

favorite

honestly, binding words is probably my favorite series ever, it feels perfectly written, with perspectives and choices I can feel myself falling into. it's one of the few series I'll listen to on repeat

Great.

I absolutely adore this series. If given the chance, give this series a read. As always Andrea Parsneau does an outstanding job at giving these characters life and personality beyond what she reads.

Bad ending

The book basically ends with him brown nosing the first authority he meets I don’t think he could have shoved his head any farther up there “ Your refined form” not a perfect quote

DS does it again

this is everything you expect of it...
only complaint is that this is a layover book...
only sets up the next several books without adding much on it's own

Sean’s still a baby but another great book!

So far I’ve loved this series. Crybaby Mc and all its simply a great adventure. This book and the one before were every bit as good as book 2 and pretty darn close to book 1. Something else I wanted to address.. I haven’t seen it nearly as much in the reviews of this series but the reviews of our authors other books seem to have an excessive amount of negative reviews based solely on there being sex in the books.. first, Daniel’s books don’t have near the sex or adult content as many other series. As someone who has read a pretty big amount of books in this genre the adult content here is always very well done and as elegant as adult content can be. A word of advice to those who leave said reviews.. I’m not sure if you are used to only reading “young adult” or litrpg’s for younger people but adults do adult things.. rating books a single star simply because you don’t like to read sexual situations is petty at best. Most adult litrpg’s have romance in some capacity.

I don't know exactly what to say at this point.

I am eight books in, having just finished this one. I am obviously still enjoying the series as I continue to follow its unfolding. I am moving immediately to the next book, and I look forward to seeing where the story smith is taking me and what twists and turns that he will guide me through.

There is only one flaw in this book

The flaw I speak of is that the book and it way too soon. I have really enjoyed this series and book. It is no exception. My only regret is that it will be months before the next installment comes out.

The narrator was excellent as always I hope she gets an award at some point for all of her incredible work.
