Publisher's summary

Only a week after solving their last case, Raven is itching for a new assignment. In her downtime, she's focusing on the two most important men in her life: her father and Christian. But there's no rest for the wicked.

When an old friend seeks Raven's expertise on a delicate matter, Viktor reluctantly accepts the case. But without evidence of a crime, they might have no choice but to walk away, even if that means countless bodies filling the graveyard. Dark secrets, evil forces, and an unexpected visitor will keep you on the edge of your seat.

If only the dead could talk.

Incredible as always

Oh Blue * not sure how to spell her name. There is enough Chaos in this book to drive a lady to drink! I was most definitely crying and laughing in this one. We even get a pop in from a mysterious zodiac! I love all the characters and wish this world could last forever ❤❤❤

some nice surprises

I love this series. this book had a few fun surprises . there are fourth wall breaks, crossover character, blue's background story, and a great mystery. the christian and raven dynamic is sweet but the trust issue thing is getting a bit old, I hope the next one will put it to rest.

Interesting story, but something more is coming...

Raven is asked to look into a string of deaths in the shifter community—a personal favor to her fathers friend. Her and Blue begin to investigate and turn up even more nefarious issues.
It was refreshing seeing Blue and Raven paired together and I enjoyed having the spotlight put on a new Keystone member without taking Raven and Christian out of the mix. The author did a good job weaving multiple subplots together without losing me and kept them all moving at a brisk pace—which I enjoy. As an audio that is sometimes can be hard to follow but it wasn’t.
I almost found the other subplots more interesting then the main story arc. Because, of course, some were just dangling carrots for the next book! So good job in hooking me—what is coming up sounds like a doozy! I was more invested in the subplots/carrots than this stories plot—this felt like a bridging/build-up story. But I give four stars for the fact that I want more!
Nicole Poole continues to amaze me—her multiple voices and tones immerses me and I forget it’s just one woman. Bravo.

Best series!

I’ve listened to all of Danika Darks series involving the breed world and this series is my favorite!! I can’t get enough of Raven and Christen but I also love that Blu got more attention in this book. As always, Nicole Poole narrates these characters perfectly!

Wow

Interesting characters, a detailed and richly woven world and political system, and a plot that will keep you up all night reading: this is another great story by Dannika Dark. I love how the characters have developed, relationships have grown, and each "person" is unique. While each novel is a stand alone story, the series is best read in order.

Does it get any better?

Loved the story and waiting for Sheppard and Kiera to decide they have an attraction. Finally someone has said out loud Blue has feelings for Victor and he for her...

TranShifter. You just cannot escape...

the progressive movement. Now men can have babies. Story was mediocre this time, series has been good, narration A+, but injecting this "agenda" is disgusting. Fantasy books= escapism, not progressivism. There is truth not "your" truth. The sun rises and sets. And only two genders.

Never enough!!

12hrs is long by normal book standards yet never enough for me when it comes to thus series! I simply can't get enough of Mr. Poe and my other massive obsession, Houdini. Awesome story as always. kept me riveted from start to finish and a huge plus having the audio available same day the books come out! I can't read these without Ms. Poole bringing them to like as she always does, so much appreciated! well done, Ms. Dark. I hope this series never ends!

Afterlife by Dannika Dark

I love Dannika Dark so I might be biased but again she strikes and hit the right spot. This book is part of a serie and cannot be read as a standalone.
