About this listen

Down, Down the rabbit-hole Alice falls. On a childish trip to find the time-cautious white rabbit. Carroll tells the story of Alice who travels down into a fantasy world populated by anthropomorphic creatures

The tale is filled with allusions to Carroll's friends (and enemies), and the lessons that all good schoolchildren were expected to memorize. Carroll plays with logic in ways that have given his story lasting popularity to all ages. It is considered to be the characteristic example of literary nonsense.

some of the music and background noises were far too loud and they overshadowed the story being told and were even annoying at times because they went on for far too long

great story just this telling is annoying

The narrator’s voice is pleasant. Thought I would try something different as this version has different voices and sounds, a little like a performance with a narrator and was excited to try it out. The problem was the background noise, yes it helped make it more realistic, but… wow, between the baby crying and the loud bird sounds on a loop for several chapters; it became more than I could take giving me a headache vs a pleasant experience. Could do without so much of that background noise or maybe not so loud since it was at times louder than the voices.
