Reminds me of the Skylark series. No depth, comic book characters, large amounts of fantasy science but loads of fun.

fun science fantasy

I’m not one hundred percent but this one might be my favorite of the series. It has been awhile since I last read the series over again… but my first time through with audio. And Emily Beresford is the Queen of audio! I love her with one of my favorite series, The Kurtherian Gambit series!

Might favorite!!!

I really enjoyed the narrator as Amelia. I really love these books and seeing the characters develop and gain in experience and skill. I am really excited for book 5. These books make me want to write about superheroes myself!

Great super hero book

It's time to deal with the existential alien threat.

With each book, Haskell seems to understand better how to write in this universe. The pacing is as propulsive in this volume as in the previous volumes. There is better character development this time, both in believability and in the emotions evoked. The world development has proceeded apace. And both dialogue and the protagonist's internal monologue continue to improve.

This book is finally fulfilling some of the promise that I thought I saw at the beginning of the series. And the ending isn't a cliffhanger. If you made it through the first three volumes of the series, even if a bit reluctantly, you should definitely read this installment. Recommended.

Solid Superhero Fiction

Here we are 4 books in and it’s still a good, strong story.
If you like this series so far, please read Wraith by the same author for my superhero goodness.
Great series. Read these!

This series does not disappoint.

to short but good pace. I did not like or childlike behavior this one but it is part of the mc growing.

The first 2 books were good. Nice progress if the characters. This book went into far fetched. Going from a basic fighting armor to liquid metal armor that can make anything at a command. Then going to another galaxy. I like the story line but it went far real fast.

Not believable
